Photos of Dixie National Forest Hiking Trails

From Leeds, Utah it's a thirty five minute drive to the trailhead parking. Sedans can make the drive to the trailhead, but be prepared to drive on mountainous washboard dirt roads. Bring plenty of water and snacks. Plan on having at least a liter of water per person just for the hike. You'll need sunblock, good trail shoes that can keep the sand out. There's little shade at the top, but the views and geology are spectacular. You'll want to spend some time exploring. So, be prepared. We packed a lite lunch and enjoyed it under a juniper.
