Hiking

We arrived at 5:50 AM and did the main trail all the way up then took the primitive trail on the way back. I highly recommend this route. It was in total 8.7 miles and so beautiful. With seeing all 7 arches and taking the primitive trail took us about 4.5 hours

Very fun easy hike. We did this at sunset and it was great. Super easy to get back and awesome during sunset.

August 10, 2020 - Amazing hike. Took 45 out and 45 back. Spent 20 minutes taking pictures. Started around 6:30 when the temp was 65 degree only got up to 72 by the time we got back to the car. When we arrived, there was still plenty of parking and less than 30 people at the arches. Most strenuous part of the hike was the incline. Scariest part for me was the narrow path right before the arches but it was well worth it.

Me and my family began at 9:45 and were able to finish in about 2 hours, this included multiple breaks, picture ops and a detour to see the petroglyphs. The trail it’s self was gorgeous and wasnt too difficult to climb. The only thing that made the hike uncomfortable was the heat. All in all this was a beautiful hike and a gorgeous view of the arch, I highly recommend!

Some tiring parts but super doable. Bring enough water. Ending is super awesome and worth it. Bring a mask to wear.

It was alright. Anti-climactic for sure. The arch was very small— we didn’t catch it at first glance. Wouldn’t hike again. Not worth the jaunt up and down the rugged hills to see it in my opinion.

I went in July 2020. There is a lack of signage, but there are so many people usually that it is hard to get lost. No shade, so bring water.

On the lower end of “hard”, more like medium-hard. No water anywhere on the trail, bring 2L+. It was cool at 8am and damned hot the rest of the day. Did the loop in 4.5hrs stopping at all 7 arches and Dark Angel pillar.

rewarding hike but HARD! That said my 98 year old grandmother in law finished it. With enough determinations and breaks its well worth the sweat!

Not really a hike, it’s a simple walk from the parking lot to the arches. But they’re beautiful and so impressive up close.

Very packed even for late evening for a sunset hike. The parking lot was packed as well. If you want a picture inside the actual arch you have to wait in line. Also there is very little shade so prepare for direct sunlight until the top. Still a beautiful and must see part of arches!

Awesome trail with some incredibly beautiful climbs and gorgeous arches. The only tricky part is after Landscape Arch where you have to follow the signs and go up a large rock formation ridge. The trails are marked by driftwood and small rock stacks. Several people asked us for help as they didn't see the markings. We agree with other reviews, you need to go early in the morning or don't plan on going all the way out to Dark Angel monument. Devil's Garden gets warm. We began the hike at 7:15. just past sunrise.
