Good mountain biking trails next to the road.

Is anyone able to tell me if this is open for dispersed camping?

took a 2019 crosstrek with a 2 inch lift. no issues it was a nice way out of the park after a day full of sight seeing.

Fun run. Tons to see. Definitely easy on the eye.

I did the entire trip from arches all the way until the 70. It was muddy and very slippery. Not gonna lie there were times that I thought I might get stuck. I have a Jeep Wrangler 4x4.

Klondike Bluffs is a more fun way to get into Arches National Park if you take Baby Steps afterwards. The trail has enough obstacles to be pretty fun and the dinosaur tracks are cool to see along the way. The trail can be a little easier or a little more difficult depending on line choice, if you'd like to see a video of my run copy the link below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxtvosiwIhs&t=6s

Took a 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk and it handled it with zero issues. I did the whole loop into the park and it was great. Make sure you have enough gas!

Completed with stock Subaru Crosstrek. November 2018. Really great beginners off road trail. A few places will require some clever approaches if you don’t have a lift. But we made it through with no scrapes. A few modified Jeeps were surprised to see a little Crosstrek on the trail. Don’t miss the dinosaur tracks pull off about halfway through. Easily the coolest thing to see on the trail.

The bike was advanced in places, but a beautiful ride.

Awesome. Felt like we were in a old west movie

Great location and views. Provided access to countless mountain biking trails. We enjoyed a 15 mile cardio ride on this path, starting from the picnic area south of the park entrance and a short excursion onto Deadman’s mountain biking trail (difficult) and have reached complete happy exhaustion.

Washboard access road. Nothing special about it except for the views. But the same views are obtainable without the bumpy ride.

Good beginner 4x4 trail. Made it fine in stock 2004 Tahoe Z71 with skid plate. There are a few places where the rocks are high enough to give clearance concerns, but we only scraped at the back once (probably just the hitch). Since I did not have experience and it can be hard to tell the size of drop offs, I got out to check out the best path in a spot or two and then had my sons get out and lead me through a particularly rocky area. The worst area is right outside Arches National Park.

This is a dirt road that is accessible to any vehicle. However, it is extremely bumpy, perhaps from the wind blowing the dirt. So, while there is no need for 4x4, at times it creates significant shaking in the vehicle, resulting in a slow and less than comfortable ride.

A superior way to enter the park vs. waiting in line on the paved entrance a few miles south. Trail really easy for any 4x4 vehicle with clearance.

We camped off the trail a bit. No shade so you need a canopy and lots of bugs. But isolated and no camping neighbors.

Camped at Willow Springs Free Campground, pretty nice, a bit buggy, and you can hear your neighbors as there isn't much privacy... but it's the desert. Drove the road into the back of Arches in a stock 2016 Ram 1500. Easy ride, didn't bottom out once, just take your time. Stop to see some old dinosaur tracks on your way in.

Took a 4x4 Jeep Wrangler out and had a blast. The trail is 98% snow free. Some muddy (but not nearly enough to have fun.) Maybe two or three tricky spots but overall an AMAZING intro to off roading. And so cool to enter Arches this way.

As long as you have clearance, this is an excellent alternative to the packed paved roads inside the park. Nice dinosaur tracks and ripples in the sandstone.

A fun trail and nice views. It’s a different way to enter Arches NP. The trail is rated as easy but there are a few spots where you can see where folks bottomed out and scraped the rocks. If your new to 4 wheeling or plan on renting a 4x4 for the day out of Moab I would put this trail on your list for consideration.

Nice trail with gorgeous views in between There are only a view challenges but makes fun after a day of hiking

Fun drive to the trailhead. Hike itself is fun, not many people. Some strenuous climbing at the beginning but evens out and ends with a nice view of an arch. Best hike of Arches NP!
