Very hot! Go early. We got down about 10am and it was already unforgiving. Stunning views all along. Nice short jaunt.

I love this trail. Perfect for beginner mountain bikers, but equally enjoyable for a leisurely stroll or a mellow trail run. Few rocks, compacted soil, beautiful scenery. Based on previous reviews, it seemed like the bugs might have calmed down, but that was not the case today. The first half of the trail (we went counter-clockwise) we didn't see many gnats or flies, maybe due to the slight breeze. When we stopped at the top/halfway point, the little black biting flies swarmed us like poop. They seemed unfazed by bug spray. Those little buggers let up slightly when we started moving, but they pestered us for the rest of the hike. Got the sunburn of my life today, make sure you use lots of sunscreen.

A nice easy trail. My friend and I were alone on the trail. Exposed but had a nice breeze. Some bugs so wear bug spray. Beautiful views.

Great views and rock formations along the way. Chukar abound. Loose gravel in spots. Overall fun experience.

Steep and good workout. Bring bug spray and money to get into the park. Good views at the top. Fun hike!

was there last week on vacation from Arizona. was really windy so no bugs to worry about. moderate hike but little tougher due to the gusting winds. nice views over the great salt lake. didn't see antelope :( , but alot of bison.

This is a great little trail. You'll follow part of this trail to get to the Frary Peak trail head. The first part of this trail is brutal. You'll go straight up for the first 3/4 mile. If you need to stop and catch your breath, do so and turn around to look at the amazing eastern view of the lake. Once you get up to the knob you have 360 views and there are several climbing spots on the rocks for better views and great pictures. Personally enjoy bringing bread and cheese to enjoy on the side of the knob and watch other hikers below.

Nice moderate hike with stellar rock cliff views, and views of the salt lake. No shade so bring plenty of sunscreen and right now the gnats are awful so make sure to bring very strong bug spray. Its essential.

This is a great trail, but not in the spring. We came here (May 8) & the bugs are AWFUL. My husband & I have red dots all over our bodies Antelope Island is much better in the cooler months.

This hike was so great! There were some steep parts but we made it up in good time. We were able to watch the sunset from the top and it was stunning! There were quite a bit of gnats, but they didn’t bite. We hiked back down and used our flashlights near the end. It was definitely one of my favorite sunset hikes
