Great hike with great views. Steep trail. Signage at the trailhead indicates the hike is Difficult, which I would agree with. Not sure why AllTrails shows Moderate.

Good views, fun rock formation to sit on at the top. We connected to Frary and hiked that trail for a while before turning around.

Great alternative to Frary Peak on a really hot day. Amazing views and reflections in the water. Bring bug spray and lots of water.

Beautiful views and scenery at the top. Lots of areas to explore. Bring water even on this short hike as there is no shade and it was really hot!

Nice trail with great views looking west onto the Great Salt Lake. Not many flies out. No shade, so it can get hot if you do this trail in the summer time.

Very unique look at Antelope Island and Great Salt Lake! Start early in the morning because it gets hot and there's no shade at all!

The trail is well marked and easy to follow. It is fully exposed so be cautious on hot sunny days. There is no water along the trail, you must carry enough. it can be very buggy in early summer, but they are mostly gone by August. Be careful with dogs, we once took our Siberian Husky and the hot sharp rocks on the trail tore up her pads before we reached the peak so we had to turn around.

this trail if pretty easy. only part that gets difficult is the last mile. for the most part very scenic. I hiked it at 6:15pm 8/11/19 and watching the sunset was majestic. it will take a solid 3 hours if you stop here and there but I would highly recommend doing it regardless. Antelope island is a sleeper.

A little rocky compared to other trails I’ve done but totally recommend this trail for the breathtaking views.

Hike was steep, did it on 8/10/19, at 9 a.m. the weather was no bad and the mosquitos were better than what I was expecting, after the antenna gets hard but not impossible and it's worth it because the views are amazing. Make sure you have enough water and sunblock there is not shade at all.

Left around 9am and weather wasn't bad at all. Bugs not as bad as other reviewers said, just lots of ants once the sun came out. Tracked it closer to 7.3 miles. Awesome trail really surreal scenery that makes you feel like you're on a different continent.

An amazing hike! I walked to the summit and then ran back and ran to Dooley Knob Spur as well. The only issue was the rain

Very nice little hike with lovely views! It definitely gets muddy in the spring, but there is a mix of rocks and dirt, so some parts stay dry. Watch out for bison!!

Good trail with enough of an elevation climb to make it feel like a good hike. The views from the top are wonderful. You could add this on if doing the Fray Peak trail and add on 1.5 miles. No bugs, but warm in early August with no shade. Go early in the day if doing in the heat of summer.

Easy stroll, no bugs today. Didn't go to the very end as a big bison was close to the trail. Nice views, but got hot.

Some parts were overgrown (tall, itchy grass) so wear pants. We were looking to photograph the bison, which, happened to be a couple of miles from the trailhead. Keep an eye out for lone bison (one came out of nowhere and ran alongside us and stood in our path--we backed away slowly). Otherwise, super easy despite the heat so you might want to start early if you choose this trail. Offers amazing views across the lake, as well as other wildlife and wildflowers throughout.
