Technical short track with some respectable inclines!

Beautiful little escape in middle of everything. The Stevie Ray Vaughan bridge is adorable, great prop for photos. it's very beautiful and serene out there.

Fun maze of trails! Set aside a couple hours at least to see it all.

Great limestone ledges and cedar trees make this place a great escape from the city in the city. If it wasn’t raining I would of hiked much more of the trail.

Seester time! We camped at Cedar Hill S.P. and all the trails at the park were closed due to the rains last week. We have a book that is called 60 Hikes within 60 miles of DFW and this trail is in our book.
We pulled in to park and were the only ones on the trail. Nice wooded trails with rocky ups and downs. It was peaceful once you got away from the road noise. There is a bridge named the Stevie Ray Vaughn bridge. Lots of color coded map trails to guide you. Be sure and snap a photo of the map at the entrance before you start your hike. At some intersections of the trails there are square granite trail markers on the ground that tell you what trails they are.
Fun hike...not hard.

Solid trail for families with kids. Relatively easy paths and some interesting finds if you are looking for them. We found 2 man made (primitive) shelters amidst the brush!

Went on a Sunday morning and only a couple other cars in the parking lot, didn't actually see anyone while out there. The Distance noted can easily be made longer or shorter with many options of paths to take. A little trash at the head, but well kept through out. Some parts are close to a busy road but further you go in, it's a really nice wooded area. 95% of the trail is natural, quite rocky and some good inclines! I'll be going back.

Fun place to explore. I really enjoyed the rocky climbs. Looks like it is well-traveled by bikes, but we were the only ones there this evening. Clean trails, well maintained. Really enjoyed it with the family.

Was in town visiting and was looking some place to get out and enjoy the weather and the scenery. Chose this location and it was great! It's easy to navigate and was a great hike

If you're looking for a nice quiet hike, this is it. I went on a Sunday morning around 8am and saw only one other hiker. Fairly easy trail with a few ups and downs.

Very good trails my dogs loved it.

It's an adequate beginner's trail. It's not too large, too steep or too hard. Some of the trails like Pecan, get deep into the woods, which are really beautiful. (If you are on the trail during high noon, I highly recommend you take the trails in the woods, as it will keep you a lot cooler.) The Bluebonnet trail is a good starting off point for a trail run, which then leads you into Eagle, which is mildly steep and full of twists and turns. Can't remember which trail, but have seen more than one cotton-tailed rabbit in Windmill, which is always a cute sight. Watch out for the spiders overhead in the trees and be sure to clear your path. It's a great trail to cut your teeth on if you're starting out with trail running, hiking and/or mountain biking.

Today's temp was 96 and had a low breeze, the trail overall was great took the whole family there due to the fact they need trail practice and the little BMX area helped them learn to handle there bikes better.
