I go there for dog walking. See deer and roadrunners there from time to time. Good shade. Near my home which is nice!

I enjoyed this place! Dog friendly. I tried different trails to see which ways is easier for myself and my friend(s) to walk on the trail. Next time, will try other way. Overall, nice place and free!

My first time here today. Thought I would be following the red line shown on the map by following the trail but ended up on a completely different loop. Not well marked. Had 2 large dogs charge us off leash and ended up picking up my small dog until the owner arrived to wrangle their dogs. May try this again when it cools off.

Nice secluded trails. If you bring your dog, please pick up after them. There was a lot of dog poop on the trail. Some rocks really smooth, I stumbled on a few. Overall very pretty and peaceful trail.

Great trail! Careful, huge spiders and I saw a coral snake!

Nice hip post op hike. Can smell the evergreens and will be back in cooler weather to smell those evergreens again. There were many cut off trees and exposed roots along the paths but no buggy!

This is a very pretty park with lots of trails and terrains. Check out the bluebonnets and other blooms along the trail; they are plentiful! There are deer alongside the trails in the evening. This is one of my favorite spots in south Austin!

I love this trail. Right behind my home. My daughter loves all the wild flowers and ending up at the playground. The creek is nice although it would be really nice if you could actually get wet. A lot of short cut trails that were pretty awesome and connect back to main trail. These trails shorten the main trail.

Nice little quiet place to hike with your dogs off leash. Was a bit muddy, but other than that, the trail was in good condition. Loved seeing all the other dogs as well. Will most likely come back but go into the main trail.

Great trail with a mix of open wildflower meadows and shaded forest. There are many forks and unmarked trails so it’s good to have the trail map available. Note that the official GPS trail has an extra leg portion which follows the creek/pond, however, it is uncrossable (there is a giant boulder barrier near the dam). It’s best to stick to the general marked loop.
