There are 12.8 miles of trails ranging in difficulty for all levels of hikers. There is also a 20-mile Trailway for hikers, horseback riders, and bicyclists to enjoy. The terrain ranges from asphalt to crushed and screened limestone. There are 16 bridges with decks and rails, including the 500-foot signature bridge that travels over Highway 180. There is abundant fauna and flora in the park. Visitors may see a white-tailed deer, turkey, raccoon, or many other species of birds.
