We worked our way backwards and started off with Mad Cow because we wanted to tackle the steeper incline first. We saw tons of wildlife (rabbits, lizards, flowers). There were a lot of snake holes and we happened to see one snake.... so watch where you step and be careful! We took a break every 3miles and it helped us tackle the hike a lot faster and more efficiently. There was no shade, so bring a hat or go during overcast conditions.
