Also known as the Sandy Reed Memorial Trail, the trail is found on both sides of the bayou's banks. There are several pedestrian bridges that connect the paths. The following trails are closed to the public: Lower asphalt trail west of Jackson Hill Bridge (closed behind Lost Lake), lower asphalt trail behind Beth Yeshurun Cemetery, lower asphalt trail behind Lost Lake, Sesquicentennial Park (southside) at Smith Street to Milam Street.
