Went the other day with a friend. We are trying to get back into shape. The Puppy Trail was awesome for beginners!! We had a blast!

Great trail if you enjoy nature. it's quiet and I only crossed paths with one other person on my walk through the woods. Lots of shade, birds chirping and open areas filled with wild flowers. Lots of tree roots and some hills but loved it all!

Well marked, well maintained.

Decent trail for running, as long as you watch your footing and slow down at the bends. Went around 7am and had the place to myself.

I love this trail. There is never overcrowding; they actually make sure the trails are in good shape, you can tell they did or are adding on to the sister trail. THANKS TO WHO TAKES CARE OF TRAIL!

Nice trails that add up to 7.5 miles. Lot of Mtn bikes that almost run you over and don't yield to hikers as is protocol. Only two other hikers. Glad I went but not likely go back.

Mountain biking this on an overcast November day. There was one biker and a family hiking when I got there. An hour later, I was the only one left. Gotta love football season! Looks like they're trying to re-route parts of the trail, especially thru the fields, which is a bit hard to keep track of, but not too bad. There are a few places with tight ruts, but nothing worse than any other DORBA trails in the area. Overall a pretty easy trail with a few tight squeezes and abundant roots. Got here from McKinney in about 20 minutes.

We love these trails. There are actually 4 loops to choose from and you can link them together for longer hikes. We go several times a week and have done all 4 on many occasions. Beautiful and peaceful...love looking for wildlife.

Safari Trail has a few shut downs within so we added the Dog Loop for a grand total of 3.1 miles in one hour. Enjoyable...wear bug spray! Watch out for the dog lady who has approximately 20 charging dogs. They're friendly and will eventually leave you alone. The lady is one of the volunteers who helps maintain the trails! Eventually the puppies

Had a great hike with my 11 and 8 year old sons. Good trails for kids and adults to enjoy. Only issue we had was a woman had 18-20 (not exaggerating) unleashed dogs that semi-attacked us. Scratched and jumped at us. No bites, but it got out of control. Took a good 3 to 4 minutes for her to get her dogs of off my children and me. Two came back ten minutes later on the trail. Kids are very hesitant to hike now.

This is a great trail. It has always been kept up, and the trails are very scenic. We walk and run this trail on average of 3 times per month. We have seen deer, large bird, and other wild life.

Hello from your DORBA trail steward. Y'all quit crying about "ruts" and come ride this trail. lol. We've been busting our grass on trail work this year. Come get some! Connect on DORBA org . If you can, join our trail work efforts for repairs and maintenance.

I rate this trail low because we we made the drive up from Dallas from the review and took a chance since there were no good pics. The trail mostly a rut that is 8 to 12 inch wide and 6 to 12 inch deep very hard to pedal without pedals hitting side. I ride a 29er and still hit. My daughter 9 years old it was un-rideable. She is no pro but can burn up Harry Moss and Horseshoe trails. The sister grove loop was ok and the lake loop was all rut. Lovely place what a shame oh well we try another trail next week

This is a great starter trail for all mountain bikers. This one is perfect for a first time biker, I started on this trail as advice from a friend who has been biking for years. It's a little overgrown and there are areas where trees are laying on the path but it's good and teaches you to respond quickly. There is working being done on the back half of the trail so I'm curious to see what they will do to
It. Overall it's a little rough bc of the overgrowth but a good trail to learn on.
