One of my family’s favorite trails.

Great trail for a foggy hike today. The Cactus trail intersects with the Knoll Ridge trail for a pleasant hike. The fog added a mystic element to the journey. Fitbit recorded 9.2k steps.

Had an awesome hike there! Amazing scenery! Definitely need good hiking shoes with ankle support if you plan to hike the moderate to difficulty trails! We hiked 7 miles there and trails were easy to difficult!

I would definitely say this trail is more moderate than easy, but it’s still kiddo friendly and a fun hike for sure! We took the Ridgeline Trail from the main road and followed it to the Sunset Deck. Spectacular views! Highly recommend!

Went in the morning with my best friend and it was absolutely beautiful. Feels amazing during this time of year. Tons of birds and good view points. If you’re looking for a place that’s quiet I wouldn’t recommend just because their are roadways nearby but besides that it’s beautiful. Highly recommend.

Ridgeline is a great walk for a quick outing. Just a little noisy due to it close proximity to FM1431. Otherwise we enjoyed it.

Fun and easy hike with beautiful views

Great views. Indiangrass is my favorite section.

Many closed areas back in had to backtrack, breezy, and cool, good trail, lots of limestone rocks.

By far my favorite place to hike in the Austin area. The terrain is diverse and the views are amazing. It’s very peaceful! Although for a wildlife refuge I only seen one bird and whatever that was that scurried into the bushes. (Snake?)

Beautiful trail in the fall.

Fun trail. Nothing out of this world but fine for Texas.

We had so much fun doing this hike! There was pretty much no one there when we were (Friday around 10am) which made the experience even cooler. Would definitely go back to do the hike again, maybe when the water is higher. It was low due to a drought!

Beautiful trail and lovely views! Perfect for spring or fall hiking because there’s no shade for most of it.

I’d call this trail more moderate than easy. Pretty rocky with lots of small elevation changes. If you tired of hiking with lots of people in Austin, make the short drive.

Nice trail, some shady sections, but some completely exposed to the sun. I wouldn’t want to do this in summer, but perfect for an October afternoon. Well-marked and maintained.

Two reason why I like this trail are the view and it is a loop. It was a bit exhausting to complete it because most of it has no shade and the temperature was at 97F, but still fun. It took us two hours to complete it. Around 1.3 miles, once already on the indiangrass trail, you need to make a sharp right turn. The trail is a bit hidden at that point. Also around the 2.3 mile, comes a sharp left turn to continue on the indiangrass trail. Because it was too hot, I guess the trail could have been more enjoyable when temperature are in the low 80s F

Was a wonderful hike I have just moved to San Antonio and had no idea Marble Falls existed but I’m glad I found this place it’s the closed good hiking close to me defiantly recommended checking it out and the other hikes in the Balcones Canyonlands park

great for kids. very few people. only thing I dont like is no dogs.

Beautiful trail and scenery. Lots of spiderwebs if you get hungry, and bats in boxes. I was the only person there, yet I felt like I was being followed..oh well

Not much traffic which was nice. Nice loops and view.

Nice easy hike, would be good for families. A little elevation gain in the beginning makes for good views, and some beautiful wildflowers. Check out the Creek Trail, pond, old schoolhouse, and the bay boxes, too!

Fairly easy hike with a mix of open meadows and covered areas. Some nice panoramas, not the most dramatic Hill Country vistas, but plenty of wildflowers, butterflies, and birds make this trail worth it. Trail was fairly secluded during my hike which was nice!
