I took my dog on this trail for her first hike and she did great! It really wasn’t a long distance. Climbing down the rocks to the bottom of the trail was a lot easier for my dog than it was for me, but still pretty easy! Definitely worth the trip. It’s a beautiful site. Next time I come, I’ll bring a bathing suit to actually swim under the waterfall!

Beautiful waterfall! The path to the top of the waterfall is very easy for those of all ages. The path to the bottom is hard - lots of climbing on rocks to get down and back up but totally worth it! My almost 70 year old mom did it - I was so proud! I wore Chacos and had no problems!Definitely want to bring your swimsuit so you can swim in the waterfall pool!

Took only the "To Base of Falls" trail. Very short but very technical. Especially slippery when the rocks are wet. So if you're not confident in climbing/descending technical terrain with sure footing, then I wouldn't take this way.
Seriously beautiful little spot. Unfortunately I packed out lots of trash and there are cigarette butts EVERYWHERE. Please show some respect people. Don't ruin and trash these beautiful places that we are all trying to enjoy together!

It was pretty much a walk a few yards to see the top of the falls - the bottom however was more challenging but not hard at all. It is fun to up the rocks on the way up. I recommend it for the view of the falls but if you are in decent shape you should be done in less than 40 minutes .

Short, nice hike to top of waterfall! The short, steep climb down to the base of the fall was a bit intense depending on the slope you take!

To top of fall is a short walk, to get to bottom of falls takes a little rock scrambling and coming back up is fun!

This is my all time favorite "quick hike."

Beautiful waterfall on a little side-trip on our way home from Nashville! Totally worth it!

Not really a hike. A 150meter flat walk out from the road. no rail so careful w pets & kids. be sure & go to the base of the falls. Also an easy walk down.. Easy access but beautiful non the less.

Very short walk but had to scramble over lots of rocks. Worth it if you're in the area.

Short and easy walk. Only takes a few minutes to walk. It's worth stopping if you're close by. Expect a lot of people on the weekends.

Great little hike for families. Hiked to bottom of falls with 6 year old and 8 year old, they had no problems and enjoyed climbing all the rocks. Also had a dog with us that blazed a trail with no issues. Had lunch behind the falls for a great little hike.

Beautiful and inspiring!

Falls were low ( not surprising since it's been dry) but both the top and bottom of falls were beautiful and fun to play in.

First off, the ozone falls is breathtaking! The recent "Jungle Book" live action movie was partly filmed here!
The hike however won't take more than 10 minutes to scramble to the bottom of the falls. It could be difficult for some, but for an average hiker there would be no difficulty. I recommend this trail for a stop on a road trip but because it is only about .25 miles of actual "hiking" I wouldn't plan your whole day around ozone falls. That being said I want to reiterate that Ozone Falls is beautiful and I would go again.

Beautiful, but definitely not 1.3 miles. Marked trails combine to about .25 miles. Easy to top of falls, but moderate to difficult to get to bottom.

The trail to the base of the falls is hard, not moderate. Need to scramble down rocks and I was definitely disappointed.

Short simple level ground stroll to the top of the falls. Short hike to the bottom of the falls. I would rate the lower hike as difficult because its all rocks/boulders, no level ground at all! Slipper rocks near the water otherwise you will have good footing on a dry day. I would go back after a couple days of rain. Unfortunately for us the falls were at a slow trickle but still pretty!

Very rocky on the lower "trail". Short and crowded but 100% WORTH IT. Wear a swimsuit under your clothes. Waterfall and swimming at the bottom. You'll wish u had if u didn't. CAREFUL: LOTS OF POISON IVY!!

Great waterfall! Super short walk to the top and the bottom of the waterfall. Just really rocky on the way down. Also, there is a HUGE dog that actually belongs to the park. Nobody has ever mentioned him on here but it was a super cool experience!

Not sure this was hiking as much as monkeying over rocks to the pool. Perfect falls. Beautiful scenery.

I'm glad I got to see Ozone Falls today, as it truly is beautiful; however, I drove all the way from Nashville and was also expecting at least a short hike to get my heart rate up for a bit, but that didn't happen. Yes, climbing back up the rocks from the base of the falls did get me winded for a second, but my heart rate didn't even stay elevated long enough for my FitBit to register any exercise activity. So, I definitely do not recommend Ozone Falls if you're expecting to do some real hiking. I also do not think it's worth the 1.75-hour drive from Nashville, unless you're also planning to do some other things while you're in the area. All that being said, it is a gorgeous waterfall, and if I lived nearby, I'd probably visit Ozone Falls often just to admire the view.
