Not really a trail. It's a running/biking path.

Really cool hike to hit after a good rainfall and if there’s not a lot of people around

Easy trail that is well marked. Was pretty muddy in spots due to all the rain we've had and due to the horses using the trail. Has slight elevation changes.

Our Cub Scout Pack has started a monthly hike to the program and this was the first hike. At 1.3 miles it was the perfect length for both our older Scouts and our young Lions. The trail was a bit muddy but the weather was perfect. Only issue was the bathrooms were still closed due to the Gov't Shutdown.

Easy, quiet hike. Trails aren’t marked very well. Good for sometime outside. Nice woodland area along the Trace with wildlife. I came across a large buck and various bird species during my hike.

Is there a place here to camp? We can stay in the horse trailer but need a place to put horses and camp for the night.

Very well maintained. Great trails. Great walking track. Great location.

Easy to moderate hike. Beautiful overlook spot.

Great area, nice overlook, trail meanders through old growth timber, just a great hike.

Fun waterfall. If limited ability their is an paved trail to an overlook, otherwise hike to the bottom for the best view.

This trail was nice and very pretty. It was really muddy in a lot of spots with a few hills. There are some trees down but it isn't too hard to get around them. about 3.5 miles in it isn't as well maintained. There are a horses on the trail so keep that in mind.

Great hike for a Cub Scout Pack. 5-8 year olds did well. Little bit of horse pooh, but otherwise a very nice hike!

Beautiful trail. I would recommend continuing along the "unimproved" trail to the base of the falls.

One of my favorite places to hike in MS. There is a pea gravel trail that is nice and wide. Lots of hills so it’s a little tiring but not bad. There are horse/bike trails that go into the woods as well. Very pretty especially in the fall...beware of ticks in the spring!

The trail at Bonita Lakes, Meridian MS is one of the most beautiful trials I’ve ever been to in the southeastern USA. Great for power walks

this trail is overly easy. a 5 year old girl scout troop could enjoy doing this. so if you complain about this trail or its condition, go to a city park where there are paved easy trails. I run this trail and can keep a quick pace even when wet, but perhaps I'm used to running on uneven ground and loose rock. Either way, it's not difficult

Short hike, good little adventure!

Nice paved trail, good trail to get your exercise on, shaded in parts and nice scenery.

I have a bad hip but the walk was short and just amazing so beautiful and peaceful cld have stayed all day

love this app. I travel often just to visit trails and this app makes it easy.

Loved the history on this mostly shaded trail. Enjoyed this, even with the heat and humidity.

Do not do the Garrison loop trail that passes back over the Trace. It is an absolute nightmare as it is overgrown and not maintained at all. Be prepared to wade thru the creek thigh deep to get out of there. Best to back track on the horse trail back to the parking lot. More of a place for cyclists to park to begin their ride.

This is a great hike! It is paved and is mostly tree cover. Almost no elevation and there were only a few people. I walked to the reservoir which is very pretty. People were friendly!

Loop? Not really. Tangled up with a horse trail that leaves you 2kil from your car. Ankle breaking loose stones the size of softballs. Muddy track very very poorly marked.

I am partially handicapped and my hiking is now rather limited, but I was thrilled to be able to walk to the first overlook. With the help of my cane and the stabilized pathway, I was able to see the first waterfall and sit down on a bench and enjoy the sound of the water splashing down the falls. Thank you, National Park Service for giving me access to this waterfall.

Me and my family went hiking and we went in the wooded trail. Found the trail that led to the lookout point which is a 1.5 mile hike from the main trail. Lots of ups and downs on hills. Very beautiful and nice. There are easier trails but the one we went on was medium and good even for all levels. Really enjoyed this hike and will probably go back since it is close to home and interesting. Lots of ducks, birds, squirrels were seen around the lakes and in the woods. Picnic tables located throughout the area.

Beginning at backpacking and used this trail as our very first one to hike. Kids had a blast with it and enjoyed the waterfalls. very easy hike but a good one to help ignite the hiking bug.

Gorgeous. Be careful under the first Falls. You can walk behind but it is very slippery. I've been here several times and it doesn't disappoint. Make sure you continue the moderate to difficult hike to get to the second Falls. Just a beautiful place.
