Nice hike to attractive 65 foot waterfall. Marked with blue i-shaped paint blazes. Mostly flat and easy on wide trail until you reach the stone steps down to the base of the falls at the very end. Go after a good rain for best waterfall viewing. Overall, best short hike at Chilhowee Recreation Area.

A great easy walk. There was enough water over the falls to make it beautiful.

Great trail running. Beautiful views at the top!

Lovely trail.

Incredible view! Earn it with the length but easy to moderate trail. Can run and bike it. So worth it no matter how you climb it!

I'd done the waterfalls trail before (which is beautiful) but wanted a longer wander in the woods on a misty day. Never saw another soul on a rainy Sunday afternoon. It's a little more than 4 miles one way to Benton Falls - I ended up clocking a little over 9 miles making a trip to the falls and taking the Rim Rock Spur loop on the way back. Love the changing scenery, wish there were better overlooks though. You get a few peeks on the way up. Several small creeks and springs so good water sources if needed. No trouble with trail markings, fairly straight forward to stay on the main trail. Great workout and peaceful outing, I'm sure it won't be my last visit.

One of my close favorites! Easy hike.

Pretty easy to moderate hike, follows the creek most of the way up and well kept. The back end of the trail gets steep and rocky so you gotta be cautious on the decent. I definitely plan to go back after a good rain so that there will be more water at the falls.

I would not recommend this as a hike but it is a beautiful drive!
I made it up the mountain in my station wagon fairly easily. The road is in great condition with very little gravel wash outs. Parked at the top and hiked the rest of the way up to Camp Creek Cove and along the AT. Breathe taking views along the way definitely worth the drive up!

It’s a pretty easy hike. Beautiful, but lots of hidden roots and rocks from erosion popping up. It’s easy to twist an ankle or trip. Just look down as you go.

Great hike to take family and friends. Easy, short, and very photogenic falls at the end. You can actually walk into the base of the falls to sit and stand while they wash over you.

Got turned around several times. Some parts are very well marked. Others not so much. Ended at the begining of Clear Creek and walked along the road to where I parked. Didnt pass a single soul along the way which is a plus in my book. Will do again.

Easy hike along the Upper section of the Ocoee River from the Ocoee Whitewater Center to Ocoee Dam #3. River is usually low. Lots of pools and large rocks exposed when low. High water during dam releases for rafting and kayaking on the weekends from mid May to mid September.

Beautiful walk along the Ocoee River - not a lake, as stated.

Loved it! The falls were beautiful!

All of the reviews were very helpful. The entire trail is easy until you get to the falls. When you turn left at the falls sign, the last 100 yards is descending down stairs and a slippery root filled trail. This was an excellent first hike in Tennessee.

Great little hike with a beautiful waterfall as payoff. There are a few really muddy spots on the trail so make sure you have the correct shoes.

This is a beautiful hike to a waterfall.

Very nice falls. The hike is short but there are plenty of other trails to hit while you’re there. We did a nice 7.2 mile loop. Go early to avoid the crowd.

Amazing views definitely worth the sketchy switch back drive. You don’t “need” four wheel drive as I didn’t use it once but you NEED clearance due to large rocks on the road and rugged conditions. When you get to the top follow the blacktop that will lead you to a makeshift parking lot from there it’s a 15 minute walk to the stunning cliffs.

Great hike and views. Steady incline the whole way up.

Easy flat trail , nice views of the river and easily done in a few hours.

The view was spectacular. You can see for miles and miles.

had time for about half, fairly easy up hill, ran water off the trail pretty well considering the rain at the time. convenient to do along with other activities.

This is a hidden gem - magnificent waterfall and a pristine crystal clear mountain top lake with a sand bottom beach

Beautiful waterfall. $3 fee per car for parking. It’s 1.5 mi out to the waterfall, and then 1.5 mi back. There are multiple other trails if you want to continue exploring. Most of the trail is sand, but there are some muddy parts and a large stone staircase at the end, so tread carefully. Great day hike! Also, make sure to stop off at the scenic overlooks up and down Oswald Rd on your way in/out of the park.

Beautiful falls well worth the easy hike in. Little work hiking back out (steps up from Falls) but was easy enough for someone with little physical ability to do. Can’t mtn bike the steps down into the Falls area but can bike 99% of the rest of the trail. I too packed out some trash. Too much litter. Highly recommended because of the Falls.

Nice trail, right on the Ocoee river. Good spots to get in the water and cool off. Recommend bug spray. Let’s if ticks. Look out for Rattlesnakes!

Nice falls and easy trail. I was there early so the traffic was all but none. Days of rain made the falls something to see but the trail also had a lot of water because of it.
