absolutely loved this Trail other than the sparse Trail markings on the back side of the trail made it hard to keep up. also a beaver dam had backed up the water over one part of the trail but it wasn't too hard to just go around it. I recommend they add more Trail markings to the Less Traveled areas.

This is not what I would rate to be easy. It is full of alot of steep inclines and declines. Alot of large fallen trees over the paths. Very narrow trail on side of hills. Definitely wouldnt take small kids.

One of my favorite hiking spots so far. Love the Tower and Boardwalk. We got to see quite a bit of wildlife. Definitely going back to do a few more trails and going back to Tower and Boardwalk! Absolutely beautiful from start to finish.

Love this beautiful loop .....it really is wilderness here so best not to hike alone

About 3.5 miles in, the trail disappeared and was taken over by overgrown bushes and weeds. We had to take the main road back to the car.

Very nice trail.

Pleasantly surprised by this trail. There was a very good verity of terrain for this area. The trails were well maintained, but the board walk will need some attention soon, but don't they all.

Good beginner backpacking route. Stayed at grassy point shelter. Had to combine several trails to get 13 miles.

Gorgeous trails! They were pretty rough in a few spots (lots of rocks & roots) but overall, I think the rating is fair. Saw lots of little critters, cute skinks and frogs! I recommend not bringing kids under 6 or so, but I think dogs would enjoy this hike.

Great hiking trail. Longest boardwalk ever but loved it. Observation tower was awesome too!.. Worth checking this place out.

Nice trail with a boardwalk, takes you to a fire tower which you can climb before looping back over the dam to the trail head. I would hike clockwise.

Nice trail w/long section of boardwalk. Prior to the boardwalk some nice rock formations as the trail works it way down the hill. Do the trail counterclockwise. A portion of this trail is a bushwhack so follow the track.

Solid little trail for West TN area. Cool boardwalk, fire tower w/ views, and a landbridge over the dam at the lake. Good mixture of elevations changes

Beautiful lake, great winter hike

Really nice day hike. Highlights are certainly the Firetower and Boardwalk, which are both accessible without having to do the long loop.

This shows the trail going to the right at the end of the boardwalk and making a short loop which does not exist.

Fun hike, a watch tower is one of the stops.

We enjoyed this hike although we may have gone a different way because it was longer than 1.2 miles. More like 2.8 or so. Park in the gravel parking lot, head to the right of the trail sign and follow the blue trail to the tower! My kids loved the tower and view although I would say because of the incline it was not a truly “easy” hike! The board walk was easy and lovely and the trail was very interesting with diverse plants, birds, and terrain.

I Hike this trail, and up to the shelter just a half mile away from the observation tower 3-4 times a week

I just did an 'out and back' hike to the Tuscumbia Shelter, a little over 6 mi RT. Lots of wildlife, saw 12 deer, ducks, geese and listened to owls all night while camping at the CG. Climbed the firetower for some awesome views. Good trail, well marked, varied terrain.
