I walked this trail with my almost 3 year old. He spent half on my back and half walking. The creek is great for kids. it's a little more uphill than I realized.

If you’re looking for signs marking the Beaman Park Loop, you’ll be confused / out of luck! This trail is really the Henry Hollow Trail (white blazes) which connects to the Ridgetop trail (red blazes). Overall an enjoyable hike, the creek was beautiful, and the weather was mild! A few blow downs across the trail but nothing that would impede progress. There’s some “construction” along the Ridgetop trail and some sections in either side roped off, but the full Ridgetop trail is still open.

Fantastic trail that follows the river and climbs a ridge to provide you with panoramic views. Good for birdwatching. Beware of ice during the winter—a few spots on the trail were slick from spring water that ran over the path and froze solid overnight.

Wet from all the recent rains but still a beautiful hike!

Nice little trail for the dog and me.

This track includes a couple miles of the new trail that meanders along the previously existing Ridgetop Trail. Took the new trail on the way out and took the old one on the way back.

Went after a days rain, little muddy but that’s no problem with a good pair of hiking boots. Beautiful trail, very secluded, walked the dog off leash the entire time.

Very nice trail system with a few different access points and a nature center with a nice covered outside porch. The whole system measured out at 6.8 miles for me and should all be rated as easy. There are various recordings here, mine is the whole system including the loop, the lead to the nature center, and the ridge trail taking the “shortcut” trail on the way back.

The first .5 miles was where most of the elevation climb was in a few switchbacks. It was also all single person wide, so be prepared. After that .5 miles, the rest is mostly rolling trails where you can walk side by side. There is one bench to rest on until you get to the turn around at 2.5 miles where there are a few benches in a circle. Most of the hike was just tree lined trail until the last mile (if you do the full loop). That last mile has all the streams, waterfalls, bridges and creek beds jammed into it in a single person wide trail. This is an all dirt trail with a good number of rocks and roots, no paved roads.

This park is just 20 min outside of Nashville, so getting there is easy. Bathroom is clean, nature center is neat. Creeks were beautiful and peaceful. Good for leisure hike, good for family hike with little kids. Not enough elevation or distance for training or exercise.

Fun trail. Great for the whole family. The trail is pretty narrow

Great upkeep and easy to walk. Lower part offers some spots along the creek. Ridge top trail gives an easy option to turn the hike into a nice 5.5 mile workout, nothing too spectacular scenery-wise but still a nice exercise.

Great trail.. hardly anyone on it. Would make an excellent trail for running.

First time walking the trail. The first mile was mostly at an incline which I need! Very quiet with just a few people on the trail. I will definitely go back! I will say that some of the trail is very narrow but it’s a natural trail so....!

The distance and elevation changes were pleasant, but overall not much to look at. It was nicely shaded and well marked. The trail was narrow most of the time so we had to walk single file in our group.

I would absolutely recommend this trail! It offers more incline than other trails in the area and provides beautiful surroundings. It was incredibly quiet with only 2 cars in the parking lot when I arrived. Definitely a perfect place to go in the fall to see the leaves change!

Very easy hike on a good trail. Great creek for people with smaller children. Great for quick short bike or after work.

Really enjoyed this trail. Great workout from the creek up to the ranger station, then back down and continue the loop to the red trail out and back to the loop and parking lot for 7 with some great hills.

A little challenging, very dynamic and good views! Crossed the path of very few hikers—just like I like it :)

very well marked, easy trail with some elevation. Pretty views of the creek at the start of the trail.
