Well worth the hike.

Easy trail. Great falls. More falls if you cross the logs on the left at the split. Great spot for dogs to run and swim.

Good hike plenty of water on trail.

Pretty little hike, kid friendly. We started at trailhead off Nicholson Ford Road. The gravel road goes on for a while, but it eventually dead ends at the trailhead. Follow chatooga River trail until it branches off left to Liklog Falls, and Pigpen falls. From what I understand, Pigpen falls is off a side trail.

Good Hike River view some places on river to get water

The Falls are so close to the parking area this is not much of a hike but the 3 tiers of Falls are stunning

Wonderful hike with an incredible reward at the end. Highly recommended!

The trail length is around 5 miles total. Pretty hike.

My daughter and I hiked this tail yesterday, beautiful sunny day, 55 degrees! We started at the Bad Creek parking lot and hike to the top of Whitewater Falls and back. It was a nice hike we enjoyed it.
Beautiful falls, well worth the hike!!

The falls are beautiful and powerful. A nice overlook!

Neat place. Hike was interesting as it was more climbing than hiking.

Pretty hike!

This hike was fun. A lot shorter than we planned for because the trail claiming to be .9 miles starts at the road. If you park at the rocks and hike the rest of the way the hike itself is very short! But it is also steep. Plan for climbing using roots most of the way. I would say this isn't dog friendly unless you can carry them because they need to be lifted most of the time. The waterfall is worth it and there is a little pool about thigh high to play in.

Excellent trail. More "easy" than moderate... just a little ascending.

The falls are some of the most beautiful I've seen in this area.

Nice lookout 1m. from parking lot to see before or after by car.

Be careful trying to find this as vandals steal the sign to the falls. We had no phone service and if not for a kind local, we would not have found it.

Beautiful falls... horrible trail.

If you want a great hike...look elsewhere. If you want to see and play in a waterfall... it's a great one.

Best falls around! A little steeper then I expected but so worth the journey!

Beautiful falls- well worth the hike! it's a very natural path and a pretty steep incline on the way back up. Great hike!

I only got a few miles in, but I had kids. I didn't want to turn them against hiking. I think it's a great hike though and if u get hot take a dip in the ice cold mountain water. I camped here once before and loved it.

Camped 2 nights on the river. Did some fishing. I'll use this trail again.

With a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old, the first falls were the limit of our adventurousness, but we had a great time and will definitely be back in the future to check out the others!

Gorgeous view of falls! Well marked beautiful trail. No crowds.

Nice day hike... viewing deck is small but luckily there were few people on the trail. Note that as you walk from the parking area to the top of the 1st rise the trail continues to the left. The trail that goes to the right leads down the steep incline to the lake and is very over grown.

Super fun! Worth the drive. Finding it was a little difficult. The road leading to it is a small gravel road with only a tiny piece of cardboard to guide the way. It was worth the confusion though because it was awesome.

Loved it! Went with my wife and 10 year old son. As others have said, getting to the 2nd and 3rd falls are more challenging but worth the effort. The view of the 2nd waterfall was the best. We will do this trail again.

This is a great trail if you're looking for adventure and up for a challenge. Ignore the moderate rating, though. If you go beyond the first fall, it's very difficult. I went with the kids (4 & 10) and they made it, but there were some hairy moments. Gorgeous falls.

love it out here but if you go anywhere near the upper falls camping area... campers apparently do not use the dig, drop and bury rule while relieving themselves in the woods. watch your step!

Trail stops at the top of the falls. Then just scramble down the exposed roots to the bottom. The creek to the upper falls must be forded unless your balance is good. Then again, a good rain might wash that log away.

Waterfalls are gorgeous but this is not a trail, slippery and washed away in some areas, use caution when you go. The GPS does not take you to the correct location, once you get to the gravel road, make the first right you come to, there are no signs other than the one on the main road.
