Located within the 4000 acre George Washington Management Area, the 100 acre Pulaski Memorial Recreation Area is a "day use" facility offering users a multitude of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors. From the first class trout fishing in the spring, to enjoying a picnic, a short hike, or a cool swim in the 13 acre Peck Pond in the summer, to cross-country skiing on the 10 miles of groomed trails into the adjacent George Washington Management area in the winter, Pulaski provides year round enjoyment for all ages.

I'd give this more like 3.5 stars. The trail was well kept and well marked, but it required crossing over gravel roads more often than I would have liked. Some varying terrain. Easy to moderate. It was quite buggy for my hike in Aug.

Great park but gets a little too busy in summer for my taste

Decent trails - pretty flat but very rocky so you need good sneakers to hike it. Trails very poorly marked in some places. We lost the orange trail about a mile in and ended up just following the road which lead us back to the car. It's fairly pretty, though there is a lot of hunting in the area, so wear orange during hunting season!

Camped for the long labor day weekend, which was a busy one despite some iffy weather reports (which never did happen).

Definitely get a hike in spot, all the drive up and RV areas are loud and crowded as was the beach, even though it wasn't swimming weather. Note that hike in is at least a mile and a half to the closest marked spots, a little further to the others. It's not a nice clear trail, lot's of rocks, mud and roots and some incline. If you are bringing in a cooler or anything not on your back, it's going to be tough going. We had to bring in firewood in a few trips, just reloading our backpacks.

We had an awesome weekend, no issues, easy booking online, easy check in and check out.
