Nestled between routes 146 and routes 123 , Lincoln Woods State Park is one of Blackstone Valley's great treasures. A short ride from Providence, Pawtucket, and Cumberland, it is a popular get away for northeastern Rhode Islanders. Visitors can enjoy swimming at the fresh water beach, trout fishing, playing ball, hiking, jogging, horseback riding, or just relaxing under a shade tree.

Nice ride

There’s a loop that goes around the whole park but you’ll be walking on the road through the park, still surrounded by trees and offers beautiful views of the lake. There are also trails through the woods that are more true to hiking, also offering great views of the lake. Some of those trials still cut through the road briefly depending on the trial you take, but are mostly through the woods. Wonderful options for all seasons however less parking is available in the off-season. The sunset hiking trials and whole park in general offers great views around sunset. The foliage in autumn is also worth a visit. You can also rent a picnic area for a couple dollars and hang out, if you want to make a day out of it. Easy trials, kid and dog friendly. The road trails get pretty busy in nice weather but the dirt paths are less populated.

Great mountain biking. There are trails shared between hikers and mt bikers, so look out for one another. There are narrow trails that are for mountains only. I dont know about other bikers but Im flying and would never have time to stop if a hiker. sooo please please please, if you are hiking stay off the mountain bike trails so no one gets hurt. Also mountain bikers, keep a look out for dear. Had a close call not too long ago.

We definitely got lost as this trail isn’t marked great— many side trails with no markers or blazes to tell where to go. We honestly made our own trail when we could hear the highway and walked from the on ramp back our car. Otherwise it’s a great park with a lot of trails to offer— just navigate better than we did!

Today we parked just over the bridge on Manchester Print Works Road off of Great Rd and walked on the paved road around Oley Pond which was a good choice as the trails looked pretty muddy. The pond loop was about 3.5 miles. Very pleasant! We look forward to hiking the trails with appropriate footwear or closer to spring.

This is the Les Pawson loop, not a trail. Paved road with some short off shoot trails that lead right back to the paved loop. about 3 miles of beautiful pond scenery and woods. Many othe rpoeple biking, running, dog walking. Rock Climbers and fishing close by. Cars will pass. I give it 4 Stars, but keep in mind this is not an actual "Trail"

I know this woods like the back of my hand ❤️ hiking here since I was a toddler. Peaceful and beautiful lake.

This park is beautiful! Took about an hour to do the loop. I saw 3 deer right in the beginning. Also a peaceful place to kayak, as I've experienced here before.

Very good spot for fishing and exercise but it is very busy. Great for walking your dog.

So we expected to be in the woods. We asked where to walk and she said stay on the road and that completes Pawson Loop. Instead of parking as soon as we got there we should have driven 3/4 of 2.5 mile walk to park where the nature trails are. The lady also should have told us this. Great Experience either way & now we know where to drive to for next time. Also, no "deep end" swimming! Fishing & picnic sites for lunch/dinner(don't forget to grab a permit for the picnic sites!) :)

Lots of hills and rocks which makes for a great work out! Many winding trails to zig zag. I definitely want to check this place out several more times because I know heres much more to see.

great place to ride bikes, walk, hang on the beach and kayak.

Beautiful place to walk....all kinds of wildlife and birds. The main loop (Les Pawson Loop) is 2.5 mills though, not 3.4.

One of my favorite parks in the area. This park offers a lot. Hiking, kayaking, beach, cycling, picnic grounds. It never gets old, love it!

I both hiked the trails and walked the 2.5-mile roadway -- just to get some extra steps in, since hiking is more my interest. The walking "path" is actually a roadway -- traffic is slow enough, but it's still something to contend with. But the wooded hiking trails are well worth the trip! At times, the trails meander around Olney Pond and provide some fairly challenging footpaths. . . but the distances are not terribly long. A great place for a 90-minute jaunt, perhaps, but don't plan to spend the better part of a day there.
