I was only able to do some of this trail since the dog I was with decided that they were done, so I’ll have to come back when I’m on my own. But from what I did bike it was nice, lots of shade. The bugs were kind of bad but apply some bug spray you should be good to go.

Trail was really clear, narrow in some parts but no overgrowth. Some muddy puddles in some spots, with lots of cute little frogs. Lots of bikers. Trail was well marked for the second half but the markers were on the rocks, so harder to see than if they were on the trees. There was a cute spot about a third of the way in with a rope swing and access to the water, if you ever wanted to swim on your hike. Overall a great hike, good for beginners!

This route brings you out to a few openings, some with an elevated view of Carr's pond, others right at the shoreline. It was a very enjoyable easy hike, with just enough elevation change to offer some beautiful views. As others have said, this trail would be great for mountain biking. Don't forget your bug spray.

Great family trail. Not rigorous but awesome environment for the outdoorsmen. Definitely kid friendly and great for mountain bikes.

Main trail circles the pond with many offshoots to the shore. 1 very nice view by some rocks. Main trail very flat, good for mtn bikes.

Didn't see one hiker. Really, ideal for mountain bikers, which we ran into regularly so pay attention. Alot of noise from roads nearby. Busier with people as we got closer to the ponds. A ton of different trails and it can get confusing staying on the right trail. 8.9 mile hike turned into 10.5 miles.

On the merits of its beauty, I would give this probably a four, but a couple things made my experience less than optimal. One, it happens to be a hot and muggy morning. That, in combination with lots of standing water and generally wet conditions from the rains in the last couple days meant that they were just thousands and thousands of deer flies and mosquitoes and other annoyances. Two, even though I had tracking on and was watching it pretty closely, I kept veering off the mapped route. That’s not always such a bad thing of course, but a couple times I found myself in some pretty overgrown areas that were rather wet and that made it uncomfortable. That said, it’s a nice area and a pretty flat 4 mile hike which I’m sure would be much better in the absence of annoying insects

Took the path in from West Greenwich. Looped the pond. Well maintained trails, but def have a route picked out you can stick too. Can add on as much as you want to extend. 3.5-4.5 average length around pond depending on which trails you choose. Quiet. Good parking lot. Bring bug spray. Some up and down elevation and fair amount of roots and rocks.

Fun, lots of obstacles, definitely needed trail map - some cross over paths by the pond were flooded out and had to go all the way around. Seems like a great place for mountain biking. If running, have sturdy shoes - lots of roots, rocks, uneven surface.
