good trail but not marked at all. It’s doable though. The small bridge is very rickety so be careful. Have fun!

some parts muddy... but beautiful... so many places to picnic.. ill be back again soon

Very easy trail. Easy to follow, no real elevation gains. Nothing challenging. A good quick hike for this state if you want to hit some double digit miles

Beautiful area but vests are required to hike here for most of the fall and winter.

Beautiful woodland trail, serene and quiet for an early fall walk.

Walked the southern half of the trail. Slightly under 6 miles. Wonderful hike with interesting rock formations.

Great trail to hike with dogs. Map was helpful but trails are marked and wide. Will be back!

Very cool trail that brings you to small cascading waterfalls. Muddy in sections most likely due to the heavily shaded areas. Not a difficult trail by any means but feels rugged because of the high amount or rocks and roots. Worth the trip but alittle strange to get to due to the lack of signage.

beautiful falls

very pretty, easy hike

i absolutely love this hike, got a lot of great pics. pretty easy.

Hiked as part of North South trail. Easy trail.

Took our 11 month old son and he had a blast!

So much wildlife along the trail and in the river. Tons of fish, frogs and wildflowers. Super muddy so wear hiking sandals!

Great easy trail. We took it slow and enjoyed the beautiful pond views. Parh was clear and marked well, very easy to follow.

Despite some bugs (comes with the territory) and some long grass, this trail was pretty and had some great hills. I personally liked the wide trails. There are a lot of forks so the map came in handy.

a little confusing since it's a little overgrown. but the little waterfalls and views were amazing. my daughter loved catching frogs.

A perfect combo of hill rock and even terrain! A great hike with beautiful views.

I generously gave this lightly traveled, family friendly trail a 4 star rating for hiking. It can best be described as a vanilla trail (nothing special about it). It was a great walk in the woods where you can easily rack up 8 miles. The moderate rating on this trail is way off base. Even for a novice hiker, it is an easy one. Elevation change is minimal. The difficult portion of the hike was staying on the Alltrails Premarked Trail. The many connecting trails were mostly unmarked. Sometimes the trails were well worn, but at times, the trail disappeared into a large field, just disappeared, or morphed into a dirt road. I cannot stress enough the necessity of downloading the trail map ahead of time so when you discover spotty or no cell service, you still have the gps. I would probably still be wandering the many trails if it wasn't for the gps and the downloaded Alltrails Map. I would hesitate to say this is a dog friendly trail as it is used frequently for horseback riding. This made avoiding the many horse droppings on this trail challenging at times. Another note of interest to a would be hiker is the undefined parking area. Alltrails took us to the parking area which was a field across the road diagonally from the trail head.
