Worlds End State Park is in a narrow S-shaped valley of the Loyalsock Creek just south of Forksville, Sullivan County. Loyalsock Canyon Vista, reached via Mineral Spring and Cold Run roads, provides outstanding views, especially during fall foliage.

6.5 miles.. We started at Shanersburg Road pull off. (Skipping the Flat Rock section along the water) & my recording didn’t start until .5 of a mile in. Once your up the mountain most of the trail is flat mountain top scenic forest. To the Canyon Vista down to Double Run area and then along the water edge to the Ranger Station. This is probably my favorite of the trails at World’s End. You could also do this in sections.

Beautiful day. Constant sound of rushing water from the various streams due to last night's rain and the snow melt.

Great trail! Some very interesting places to explore along the way!

A beautiful spring like day. We only saw two people and saw them twice. Cold Run Trail was snow and ice free. Canyon vista was snow free but a large section of ice on the old road that climbs towards Warren's Window. An excellent day for a hike.

Fun little trail! Steep incline and moderately difficult rock climb. Nice vista! If you want to add some distance just jump onto the loyalsock trail and Finnish the high rock on the way back.

Really enjoy this trail. Have done it several times. Unfortunately haven’t caught it at the right time yet with lots of water but still beautiful even with a lil bit of water. Easy to follow although there is a point at which the trail veers right up the mountains and can be missed if ur not looking but even if u miss it just keep walking straight on the old logging path and you will run right into the side of the falls. U can hear before u see it. Slightly more physically demanding and wouldn’t recommend for small children. Have fun and be safe!

Fantastic trail. Superb view and just an overall fantastic and peaceful hike through the woods of Pennsylvania. My fiancée and I absolutely loved it. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Only wish we would have gone about 2 weeks earlier for the leaves changing colors. By the time we got there the leaves had mostly fallen. The view was still incredible.

Beautiful trail. Started at Canyon Vista, blue blaze and decided to take a detour on the Cold Run Extension Loop for an extra 1.5 miles. You’d be crazy not to do it. Beautiful falls, streams and the boulders were incredible! Beautiful scenery. I’d definitely do this hike again!

The first part of the trail is steep. I would rate the trail as moderate. Though a short trail it does open up a wide variety of hiking options once it reaches Loyalsock Road.

Great trail, lots of fun climbing the rocks! One of my favorite trails. Definitely not an easy trail, moderate to hard or experienced, but absolutely worth it!

Took this trail after the Butternut. So glad we did it. Loved the rock scrambling and the various lookout points. Take caution with the steep incline especially when wet. Keep an eye out when the trail split from the LT. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quick and very scenic trail. Loved the waterfall.

Don’t let the “short” distance fool you. Steady incline as the trail starts out. Really worked up a nice sweat. Good, sturdy, waterproof shoes are a must. My foot went right into a huge mud pool at one point. So thankful to have waterproof hiking shoes. We started clockwise to the upper loop and finished via the lower loop. Areas were definitely a challenge as we were scrambling rocks while hiking down. Highly recommend if you want a nice short challenging hike. I especially appreciated that the trails were very well marked. Probably should take caution if it is raining.

Lots of leaves right now made things a little slippy, but they do help block the large amount of mud that is everywhere on the trail. The water was running great and it made the waterfalls along the way look very cool. I would recommend counterclockwise, and the lollipop was around 2.25 miles on my garmin and my friends apple watch; which doesn't match the reported distance, so maybe that needs an update. Would take others again for sure!

What a great way to spend an afternoon! it's hard to beat this trail with all it's diverse terrain! it had everything from inclines, to switchbacks, to rocky sections to gi-normous rocks you could hike in between (or over if you really wanted!)and just enough nice easy trails to give you a chance to breathe in between! The overlooks at Canyon Vista and Warren's Window were gorgeous-especially this time of the year with the leaves changing! And if the 4 mile loop isn't enough for you, you can add on the additional 1.5 Cold Run Trail! we will definitely be back -there are lots more trails to hike!
