Bordered on the south by steep Mount Yeager and on the north by Nescopeck Mountain, the 3,550-acre Nescopeck State Park encompasses wetlands, rich forests and many diverse habitats. Nescopeck Creek, a favorite of anglers, meanders through the park. Hiking trails follow the creek, climb mountains, pass through quiet forests and skirt wetlands. An environmental education center provides year-round educational programs on the parks unique resources.

Lots and LOTS of tics. Especially on our small dogs.

beautiful gentle walk

Very enjoyable

Very nice flat hike, lots of beaver activity, hard to believe the size of some of the trees that they bring down.

Excellent trail for the family and older folks like us. We took the dog with us on the 3 mile loop in mid-October with spectacular fall color. Serene and gentle. Several smaller bridges and a creek-side portion kept it interesting.

Nice and easy trail to get us started again. Trails were well marked and only saw 2 other people out hiking.
