Just finished a good 8-9 mile hike to a pretty beautiful little beach on the lake and back to the trailhead! A nice paved pathway, lots of shade, a couple really pretty peek-through spots with views of the lake. Trail goes up against the road a few times, but overall, a nice trail! Would do it again!

There is an entire portion the trail missing. You have to walk through a stream. It’s not too deep, just be prepared

My hiking partner and I got lost 3 times while navigating this trail. Added mileage to the hike and got to do some extra exploring so I'm not going to complain. Muddy in some areas and downed trees made navigation a little difficult. Overall, I'd do this trail again.

Started at the trailhead in the parking lot near the lake. Hiked counterclockwise to save the lake for last. Beautiful hike through pines for most of the backside and finished up along the water. This hike could be tricky since it intersects with other loops to make the hike shorter but if you start along the long loop and continue to check the trail on the map when at unmarked intersections you will end up doing about 3.4 miles. Follow the blue trail blazes. Some changes in elevation but mostly gradual and not too challenging! Would do again!

Hiked the short loop version around 1 mile (long loop online says 3 miles). Trail was well marked, just have to follow the short loop signs. Some inclines but overall nothing too extreme in elevation gain. Trail was mostly dry with a few areas of mud and some sections overgrown but passable. Nothing spectacular to see but a nice hike to enjoy the outdoors. Cool little stick/branch teepee about halfway in.

Beautiful sunny day Light traffic on the path Spring flowers still blooming

Excellent trail! Very well marked, did use the app a couple times to see where we were and the app did tell us when we went off trail! A great feature!! Great trail for exercise as plenty of ups and downs!

This was a nice, wide, and scenic trail.

Very pretty trail, when you’re actually on the trail. However, it is very poorly marked. You should plan to walk around a half mile on the road.

Someone stayed "unremarkable" and I would say that was very accurate. Nice walk in the woods, but nothing too exciting. Overall enjoyed my time but probably won't be back to it.

went with 4 kiddos and man was it muddy alot of parts we had to go off trail to avoid losing shoes- the 4 yr old. nice view of lake at the end however.

Not too bad for a leisure walk. Few muddy areas but totally passable.

This trail is STUNNING!! If you want a leisurely stroll on a trail that gives off enchanted fairyland vibes...this is it! When you come to the first split, take the LEFT path so you're walking downhill on your way back around. It loops!

So confused. We thought we were on it, followed GPS straight to trailhead, but after less than quarter of a mile we got totally lost and just wandered around until we found other trails to follow. Saw blue paint markings but that didn’t seem to help. If we WERE actually on it then we didn’t like it... too close to road (even had to cross heavily trafficked road) and big open field area area.

We ended up here after wandering for an hour trying (unsuccessfully) to find and stay on Pleasant Valley Trail. Beautiful trail thru woods with enough incline and decline to feel like we were hiking (and not just walking). A little muddy but that’s all part of hiking as far as I’m concerned. Would definitely do this one again.

While there were a few muddy spots and downed trees in parts, the trail overall is in pretty good shape down to the oil well exhibit, off of Park Rd. Beyond that, toward the State office, it’s considerably more muddy.

Pleasant ride on paved surface. On holiday weekend it’s busier than otherwise but not crowded. It runs parallel to the lake shore so you can see the water, boats, fisherman. Strong smell of spring flowers

Started out at McDaniels launch and hiked through the bike trail until the start of the NCT. Hopped onto the Glacier Ridge Trail for about 15 miles in and out. Ate lunch beside the bridge on 528. Overall a great hike with a lot of variation in terms of elevation change and environment. A little muddy, but great weather!
