You could walk and explore Longwood for hours and miles and still not see the entire place. If you're looking for something a little quieter, the meadow is filled with wildflowers and wild grasses and has a few miles of paths. They are well kept so you're not wading through tall grass. Not many people walk back behind the chimes tower, though that is another lovely place to stroll; a bit hilly, tons of huge old trees, secluded. Most of Longwood's paths are paved, aside from the meadow. You can really have a nice walk anywhere around the grounds and through the conservatory, just depends on whether you want to deal with tons of people. The best times to go for lighter crowds are first thing or last thing during their open hours, or try to visit on a weekday.
