The varied topography and mixed hardwood and evergreen forest make the 612-acre Linn Run State Park a scenic place for picnicking, hiking and cabin rentals. Grove and Rock runs join to make Linn Run, an excellent trout stream that has a lovely waterfall, Adams Falls. Forbes State Forest borders Linn Run State Park and offers 50,000 acres of land for outdoor recreation.

Went in January and there were patches of snow on the trail that in addition to the leaves made the path at times quite treacherous. Was hiking with a five year old and a two year old in a pack and it was challenging. I would recommend going when it is drier.

Great workout. couldn't get into a jogging rhythm because of the rocks and unpredictably of the trail. Also use caution around the water crossings. There was at least 4 or 5 after a fresh rain. otherwise, great to get the heart rate up.

Pros: This trail is a great workout. If completed later in the day, the sunlight is quite beautiful glowing through the foliage.

Cons: Weird thorny parts of the trail. What seems like a never ending 2 miles of uphill switchbacks. No overlook or particularly anything else to look at. Many ankle twisting opportunities from rocks.

great trail to work on hill training and endurance. not too steep but just enough so you feel it.

Nice stroll in Winter. It's not particularly challenging but it's a beautiful place.

This is a nice loop trail. there are lots of rocks and places to get muddy so my three year old loves it here. It is also dog friendly, so he always manages to meet a new four legged friend.

Enjoyable moderate spring hike. Numerous low water stream crossings. Rocky downhill return (we walked counter clockwise) with ample ankle twisting opportunities.
