I did this hike 2 weeks ago while the temperature was cool in the morning. Passed by a dam with a pretty water fall. The creek has some beautiful cascading falls along the way. The little rock field towards the end is a fun stop to build a rock tower. This is busy trail so I suggest visiting early in the morning.

Nice short hike to a pretty waterfall, not too difficult to do 3 1/2 months after foot surgery, very busy though.

I did this trail 3 1/2 months after foot surgery (several bones were fused) and it was manageable. Very beautiful at the end of September, just enough traffic.

short hike and crowded. pretty waterfall where you can get close to the flowing water. views of bridge over the small gorge were nice.

pretty winding path, short walk to a man made waterfall. small lemon squeeze spot if you keep going. Trail has lots of rocks and roots, otherwise easy.

4-5 stars for the standard Hickory Run sights which this covers (Shades of Death, Boulder field, etc), 2-3 stars for the rest. Nothing much to see on the lesser-known trails (Gamewire, Fourth Run, etc) but was going for mileage with some trail running mixed in so worked out. Didn't know anything about the trails further away from the usual tourist spots so was curious to explore them. I will say Manor House Trail must be the least traveled trail in the park...if at all, because the amount of spider webs was ridiculous! All these little black buggers with bright white backs repelling down my clothes...at least they were mostly small ones, but was particularly annoying because I had done this counter-clockwise so was getting to the end of the hike and slowed me down quite a bit. Also, the cross under Rt 476 on the northern part of the loop was a bit interesting because it is actually a stream underneath but were plenty of rocks provided on both sides to avoid getting wet (not sure how that would pan out with lots of rain).

Easy trail, well-defined, but not well-marked. Outlook has a nice view! Not the best workout, but a leisurely way to spend an afternoon outside on a beautiful day.

Beautiful. Like all the “popular trails” amongst the social hikers, this one follows a road. However, the trail goes deep enough away from the road at times to where there is some serenity and you feel like you’re in the deep woods. It’s an “other worldly” trail, hiking along the creek and under rhododendrons. It’s an easy trail for adults, but I can see where it’s challenging for children and dogs. There are a couple of larger body of waters amongst the short trek, and a waterfall by the start of the trail.

Definitely hard with high cliffs and big dog

awesome trail . great spot to fish down by Lehigh

Beautiful walk. Amazing rock formation. Take a lot of water because walking on the rocks you're totally exposed to the sun and dehydrate quickquickly.

Nice easy trail with some slopes. Took my 6 year old German Shepherd and 9 week old puppy. They did awesome.

This boulders area itself is mind boggling. 20,000 years old and NOT a result of glaciers (at least not directly)! We actually drove there vs. taking the trail. We couldn’t really explore the boulders with our dog so suggest leaving them at home. We instead walked a portion of the Stone trail nearby which was very peaceful.
