Beautiful scenery. Well worth the hike. There are some muddy areas and can be very rocky at times. The trail is clearly marked and could be used by all hiking levels; you just may have to take your time on some of the rocks and inclines. The waterfalls though are amazing!!!! My dog did very well here too.

Not easy but very nice trail. Rockier than we thought...beautiful waterfall

Nice trail!

Awesome trail. I wouldn’t say it’s easy but then again I hiked it while pregnant. Beautiful waterfalls throughout the trail. Highly recommend.

Was very disappointed in this trail. I would not consider it easy as there were many rocks to avoid and there were places where we actually needed to do a bit of climbing. Very nervous with a 5 year old and a dog, and nervous for the older adults doing the trail. It was also incredibly crowded and the you came out the same way you came in, so you were fighting two-way traffic.

Very challenging out & back 5k!!

It was a cool little loop with a waterfall. Nice for a light trail jog.

Beautiful trail went on a Sunday in early summer and wasn’t too crowded kinda steep though so make sure you wear proper shoes this was my first time hiking in 7 years and I had a lot of fun!

Recommended. The trail is very wet. More than the Falls Trail at Rickets Glen. Very scenic though and pretty short. Great for kids.

Not as nice as I expected. Pretty wet trail and not really much of a vista even at the picnic table. Fairly boring. There wasn't anyone really on the trail compared to Shades of Death which is a more scenic, shorter, and popular trail.

Great view and a challenging hike, trail needs a bit more maintenance, but I guess that's what makes it difficult.

Beautiful trail, easy to follow, lovely waterfalls

A great trail not far from home. In my opinion the most scenic trail in Hickory Run State Park. Don t let the name intimidate you, A great short hike if you are in the area.

Easy trail. Clearly marked with yellow blaze.

It was nice. Creek is beautiful. Little to easy though for my liking. The scenery and setting really feels like Hobbit land. Lot of mossy rocks and paths. Cool waterfalls along the way.

We loved it. Although I'm assuming it's rated easy because it's flat. However it's long and I would consider it quite rocky and marshy in most areas through out the treck. We liked the Narrowness of the trail the most and not heavily popular.

Nice short walk w a little incline on way out beautiful views of waterfall

Great hike with a nice picnic area at the top. Beautiful view of the river and very easy, strollable hike with the dogs. The first turn isn't marked, but other than that, it was a well marked trail

I've hiked this twice now, once starting at the route 534 trailhead, and at the Oakland dirt rd trailhead. if you are in a rush or don't want to hike far, go with the 534 start, but the much better way from a scenic standpoint and leaving the throngs of people behind is to follow the yellow orchard trail along the creek over to hawk falls via the back way. many great places to wade in and fantastic lunch rocks.

Short but oh so sweet

Had a nice time there in the snow. Easy, enjoyable little hike w/ some cool stone features, and close ups of the waterfalls.

This trail is very easy it is about a mile down to the falls. I recommend bringing water because you could be at the falls for a while. I recommend this trail for all ages because kids like to play in the creek near the falls. If you come in the summer you can go swimming. Over all this is a great trail and the falls are beautiful.

my wife and I hike this trail a lot, mostly on the winter. Hardly used in winter but can get real busy in spring and summer . Best part of this trail is I can be on it in minutes because it's barely a 100 yard from my house.
