The 15,990-acre Hickory Run State Park, Carbon County, lies in the western foothills of the Pocono Mountains. This large park has over 40 miles of hiking trails, three state park natural areas and miles of trout streams. The Boulder Field, a striking boulder-strewn area, is a National Natural Landmark.

We loved this trail. It runs along the creek with lovely little water falls and a place for the pup to cool off. interesting twists and turns through rodedendrum and under trees. some very interesting dams, and little ponds. It was a fantastic afternoon hike.

nice, easy trail with some picturesque views - took dogs on trail, they loved it. only issue was finding the place, parked where the 'amphitheatre' was then walked down from there

The park map lists this trail as difficult and i agree. There are parts where it is easy, but few.

Nice relatively easy hike with a pretty view halfway through the loop. Saw a huge porcupine right off the trail so keep your eyes peeled for wildlife!

Nice 2 mile trail to see, covered with lots of pines and a forest of rhododendron to keep you cool. A few waterfalls and ponds..worth the look.

What a beautiful walk, easy for an old man like me with plenty of easy access to the falls. Most definitely will be back after the next heavy rain to check out the falls.
