We hit a couple of trails. You definitely need to all trails app for this one as trails aren’t marked well and it can seem counterintuitive. Nice quick hike though! I’d recommend!

Took our time, very muddy from the rain, some bugs

I wouldn't walk the same way in again it was extremely muddy, but there's access further up that I left out of. They are great trails, but very poorly marked by names there were many times if I didn't have this app I would've taken the wrong trail. overall a very nice hike though.

Nice trail system with a lot of options to make your hike as long or short as you want. The wife myself and our two dogs did a five mile loop. The first half mile along the lake had some really soupy mud but nothing even my low hikers couldn't handle with some careful foot placement. I took off one star of the faded trail markings and a least one missing trail sign but with a printed out map and the AllTrail APP running made finding trails and turns really easy even with my phone in airplane mode just to see how well it worked with no cell service. All in all a nice day.

Beautiful little park. Nice for Day trips or camping. Lots of trails and even some old growth forested areas. The back has a bird sanctuary and a Turtle Pond which FINALLY is protected from fishing and litter. Love it here!

This is a good area to hike. Many options to make this loop your own as there are many trails that weave in and out of each other. We tried following the map but ended up making a few detours.

recommend.

Walked all the trails with my puppy to help break her into hikes. I would rate this as an easy trail, not much for views, but it was perfect for her. There's a trail head past the state park entrance where you can pick up the Deer to the Upper Deer trail and head around. The trails are easy to follow as long as you watch the blazes. There are some off shoots that are not part of the trails. No blazes means you're going the wrong way!

Very nice loop trail

Cool morning for a Cub Scout hike. Boys did great and had fun. We did a 3 mile hike along the lake and up a short distance into the woods. Did not follow the traditional loop.

I would like to find a nearby place to go bike riding also

Go there often great hiking trails

Loved it go there often

There is no way the illustrated trail is 7.2 miles and 3.5 hours. More like half of that. The best trails in the park are across the lake, with two trail heads on Green Road - one at the intersection of the main road, and another up the hill aways. That one is always well stocked with trail maps, but if not,you can get them at the park office.

Awesome mountain bike trail

This is an okay little hiking area. I hike here quite often because it is very close by, and friends always seem to want to go here. Otherwise, its not my bag. There is a lake and some forest, but nothing spectacular. There maybe 7.5 miles of trails total, but not on one trail. The longest trail is a little over three miles.

Camping there is fun i like a more areas with trees there's a campfire you can camp their with a camper and a tent there is electric for camper or tent I like it we go every year with our camper there's a pool if it hot and places to have a BBQ or something I like
