For 40 miles the Middle Delaware River passes between low forested mountains with barely a house in sight. Then the river cuts through the mountain ridge to form the famed "Water Gap." Exiting the park, the river will run 200 miles more to Delaware Bay at Wilmington, Delaware, and then to the Atlantic Ocean.

Great trail with great views up to Mount Minsi. Can be a little more trafficked than I would like.

Great hike in the snow. Cliff Trail gets little dicey in spots, but the waterfalls and ice formations were fantastic!

Beautiful walk that is easy for all ages. Stunning falls about a mile from the trailhead. The path beyond that is considerably less maintained and more of a moderate level trail.

Beautiful easy hike along the river. If you are adventurous then treat yourself to some additional waterfalls by climbing up the hill on the overgrown trail near the main falls. Slippery when wet so proceed with caution!

This was fun. The first half is straight up and tough but the second part of the loop was so great. It was green in January! The rocks get slippery. I used poles. So glad I had them as I’m uncoordinated.

Solid trail

We hiked this many times. It’s a nice hike with water and falls views. It’s a little tricky getting down to the falls. There is actually an upper and lower that don’t connect with an actual trail but the last time we did this we forged our own trail to the upper falls. It was a tad tricky and risky but we enjoyed the day.

Hiked this many times. Great water views both falls and creek.
