This was a great hike along the ridge on the AT with views to the NJ side and the PA side. Then nearly 360 degrees at Raccoon Ridge! The forest hiking back on the Kaiser and Coppermines Trails was nice and serene. Trail conditions were good and markings made it easy to not get lost.

Great trail . Recently I visited 2 times in last 3 weeks . First time we reached at the pick during sunset. We are able to see beautiful views. Yesterday it was Hurricane Isaias in this area and we decided to do adventure. No one was on trail. We started 7.30 Pm and reached the pick at 9 pm . We saw so many water falls , streams , falling trees due to storm. Able to clean some trees debris those blocking the trail route. We get down around 10 pm and it was really adventure trail due to tropical storm we never had before specially in night time .

This is a relatively good trail. kind of confusing so make sure you are using the app or have a map! only 3 stars because of the amount of people and the amount of garbage along the trail at the falls.

Great trail, but pure climbing. Only issue with the trail was that the path coming back down isn’t very well mapped out, I ended up getting off course about 2 miles before I realized I wasn’t on the actual trail anymore. The view at the top was amazing and surreal. Definitely recommend

This is a beautiful little trail. Unfortunately, I found a lot of trash up there so I spent a good part of my morning cleaning up after terrible people. Definitely recommend, but bring a little trash bag and a picker to help mother nature out!

Nice trek. Narrow, rocky path with the occasional scramble. Proper footwear is definitely suggested.

I Would consider this trail the easy side of moderate. Parking is very limited. Some rocky parts but overall a good hike. Would go back

Walked this trail the same day I completed the Mount Tammany: Red Dot and Blue Dot Loop Trail. Recommend doing this second because Mount Tammany trail is a faster incline and more difficult. Parking is in short supply at both places so go early or try a weekday. Followed the AT to the top, not so bad. Awesome view of Mount Tammany and beyond. The side trail coming down is easy and basically a gravel path. This took me about 2.5 hours round trip.

More challenging than I anticipated. There are some sections that are steep and technical, hand over hand scrambling. Bring plenty of water and good footwear. All ages, kids may need some help at the scrambles.

Drove 2.5 hours to get here and they had all the roads blocked off because they were “over capacity”. Park rangers waiving you on instead of providing assistance on where to go instead.

At 8:30am on a Friday morning, parking (at the foot of the trail) was available (small lot though; if full, you could probably park on the main street and walk to the start of the trail). Moderate at the start, then steep rocky incline to the top was difficult, but possible and worth it. Trail was well-marked, but research ahead of time and familiarity with the general expected shape of the trail was helpful. Recommend for the view!

This is a nice walk in the woods. I have no idea why it is rated moderate as it is easy with very little incline and well marked and wide trails. I added Crater Lake to the walk which was maybe another 1.5 miles round trip. There was one very nice view off the AT between the two lakes so I am glad I went to Crater Lake. Saw a rust colored lizard, some big deer, and a garter snake (I think). Nobody in the parking lot at 9:30 am on a Friday but a fair amount of cars there at noon.

Nice trail. Very loud traffic noise coming from I-80. Walked back along the inner road.

Lots of extra trails that aren’t on the map but the main blue trail is very well marked. Got out early and didn’t see a soul until we were leaving.

This is a quick trail. It’s 2.5 miles in and 2.5 miles out. I took the scenic trail on the way back. It’s mostly shaded with not too much incline. Took me under 2 hours to complete. I only give it 2 stars because it’s an easy trail rather than moderate and I’ve seen better views. Although it’s easy to navigate and a great way to hike through the wilderness with only a couple hours on hand.

Arrived early-ish (8:30 am) on a weekday and there were only a few people around. Interesting trail that gives you a lot of different things (waterfalls, cliff views, etc). I would rate the hiking easy-moderate as there are some sections of incline but for the most part, this is a pleasant walk on level ground. Bug spray kept insects away and didn’t see any wildlife. When the crowds thin out in the fall, it might be worth starting this hike at the Milford Knob trailhead and walking southwest to make the falls the reward halfway through. As is, the falls are over within a quarter of the way through the hike. The views from the Cliff Trail are spectacular and the best I’ve seen in the DWG.

we went on a weekday and it wasn't crowded... we really enjoyed this loop. started out along Cliff Trail side... fabulous views! we were ready for a swim by the time we got to Hacker's Falls... kids really enjoyed jumping from the waterfall and the cliff above. Very glad we went ona weekday though... drove by on Saturday and the lot was packed with cars...

Really easy little trail that has a clear path, a small 2-3 car cutout of the road to park at, and a nice clearing with the falls. If you’re looking to see something nice in nature but don’t have a ton of time or energy, this is a good way to go. Definitely use big spray as it’s fairly heavily wooded. Nice little falls with some pools to watch tadpoles, dragon flies, and butterflies.
