Great adventure, extremely peaceful . Is low foot traffic. Awesome swimming spots . Dogs on leash. Great photography.!

Did about 3 mi round trip South of Cedar Creek. Great places to get off the trail and access the creek. Some of the footing is challenging when wet. Saw two kinds of orchids. Fawn Lily and Trillium are plentiful but were past their peak today. Literally no invasive plant species seen!

Loved this trail. Hiked this last April 2017. Brice creek is so clear and beautiful. Well maintained trail. I started lower than the campgrounds, I think at Cedar Creek. It ended up being about a 5 mike hike. I ran out of time and had to turn back right below Trestle Falls. I came back later in the summer and hiked to the falls. Cool falls, would’ve prob been more impressive in the spring when there is more water.

Beautiful, clean, well maintained trail and day use areas. The campgrounds are closed till May but the restrooms are open and clean. Excellent for kids, grandparents and dogs. Didn't see any litter or animal poops.

Beautiful hike. Really recommend taking upper trestle creek. Well maintained trail.

Started at Cedar Creek Campground and added Trestle Creek Falls so haven't done the full trail but of it is still incredible out here. You will turn a bend and have a perfect, postcard worthy photo. Very quiet when we went. There are some very narrow sections that are likely to become dangerous if they are not maintained this spring, but overall a great year round hike.

awsome hike doing the full trail in 3 weeks again

Beautiful Spring hike through forest (if you start at West trailhead). Then after Cedar Creek campground, you walk along creek---more like rushing river this time of year. Great hiking spot!

Beautiful hike! Well kept trails. Went on a hot day so only did half but the trees helped with shade. There were some steep spots but nothing long. Would not see this trail as particularly good for mountain biking. Falls great! Definitely on the list of repeats.

Nice, fairly easy hike along Brice Creek with rolling hills, nothing particularly difficult. Doesn't get a lot of use on weekdays, which is when I have been there. The creek is beautiful and has minor waterfalls. There is a place fairly close to Cedar Creek Campground where you can go down to the creek and scramble around on the rocks. I found bobcat tracks on the trail once.

The Umpqua River is beautiful, however the Umpqua River Trail is poorly maintained in many spots.

This creek is beautiful! The water is so blue and the trees are amazing. It's not a super strenuous hike but it's still worth the trip. The nearby campground is my favorite in the area.

We started at the Cedar Creek Campground, which has a bathroom and free parking. Heading towards Trestle Creek Falls there are plenty of chances to check out interesting rock formations with the river rushing underneath.
In January 2016 there were plenty of trees down, along with a few small landslides. Nothing that will give a hiker any problem. Overall the trail was very well kept and afforded many excellent views. Echoing what others have said, connect with the Trestle Creek trail for the real treat - a chance to walk behind the falls.

For Mt bikes this is a tough, technical trail--especially the uphill. I recommend biking up the road and crossing over at one of the many bridges. The trip back to the car is still challenging, but fun.

Hiked this with a class in October 2012, was spectacular. Go all the way up to Trestle Creek Falls, worth the trip and view.

Great close by trail. Not difficult but you can set your pace to get a good workout if you like.
Nice well kept up trail along river with great offshoot up upper trestle Creek falls where you walk behind the falls.

Inside the Rujada campground is the Swordfern 2 mile loop trail that parallels Laying Creek. We weren't quite sure if we were on the loop trail and only hiked about half the loop before returning the way we came. That's what happens when you don't carry a map. Turns out we were on track the entire time. Nice little trek through the forest. Many ferns and wildflowers this time of year.
