This is a beautiful day-use park located on the bank of the Rogue River and at the foot of the geologically prominent Table Rocks. You can fish, swim, hike, watch wildlife and experience nature at its finest. An ideal spot for family gatherings or group picnics, the site has a large picnic shelter with cooking utilities. There's a smaller picnic kitchen and three sites with water and electricity. Denman Wildlife Refuge is next to this park and teems with local and migratory wildlife -- a bird viewing paradise. Salmon and steelhead pass through seasonally on treks to and from the ocean. Rainbow trout are stocked by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. A boat ramp with toilet facilities provides excellent access to the river.

Great cardio hike and beautiful vistas

Great hike. Busy though.

I’ve done this hike twice now! April 2017 and New Years Eve 2017! Great hike both times of the year! I’m not very experienced and don’t hike too often but this one isn’t too bad!

This is a great hike and when you get to the top it is amazing. The views are gorgeous!!!

I hiked this trail with my family (wife, 8 yr old, 6 yr old, 3 yr old, and a baby strapped to my back) and we found it to be fairly easy. It’s about 3 miles round trip and I highly recommend hanging out up top for awhile exploring all the different views of the valley.

It was a little muddy when we went, but that just adds to the fun.

Dogs are not allowed! We made the mistake of being ours the first go around and had to turn around. I’d also recommend using the restroom before coming out here. There are enclosed porta-potties, but good luck.

This is a great, short hike. People, please obey the NO DOGS signs posted everywhere. Go in the off season to avoid crowds.

Awesome quick hike easy of Medford. At the peak there are great views of the valley. Southern trail is slightly steeper but shorter than the northern trail.

Watch out for sticky mud when wet out

Love this quick hike...went this morning and got above the fog inversion to blue sky and sunshine. The trail was really muddy toward the top, if you go in rainy season prepare to get muddy.

Definately a hell of a hike for it being only the second time ever hiking. The rain didn't help but the trail is easy to follow, the fellow hikers we came across were all very supportive, and the view at the top is beautiful. Even with no sun in site, it still takes your breath away. I can't wait to see how much better I do at it the second time around.

One of my favorite local hikes. Easy/Moderate up and back can be done in 1.5 hours. Great views, especially at the top.

Nice morning hike, close to town and suitable for children. Beautiful Rogue Valley views and interesting vernal pools at the top. However, of the two table rock hikes, I prefer the lower table rock trail, as it seems to be more protected from the sun.

Stunning views when you get all the way to the top! Highly recommend

Beautiful view, nice trail. Parking available with restrooms.

Best little hike!

It's a very nice hike, not too strenuous with great views on the mesa. Note the way back to the trail back down. Look for landmarks, and turn around and look back so you know what it looks like.

I have done this multiple times. It is a good constant climb with amazing views at the top. This one is very popular and the parking lot fills up fast on the weekends. Would be much better if they allowed leashed dogs... I would do it more if they were allowed. Still a must do if your in the area.
