Great trail to walk with the dogs , it was just too short for our liking ! But everything was beautiful !

Went on NYE - gates are closed. We parked at them and walked through. Water was really high so we couldn’t get to the falls but we trotted around on the trails for about a mile and they are well maintained and pretty. I’m sure during the summer it’s super busy as this is a campground.

Great trail - will always be a favorite of mine! Nice and short, my mapping is a little extended due to helping someone down the mtn. Really important to wear proper hiking shoes.. very muddy and slick!

Trail is in great condition. It was super cloudy when I went so not many views, but a hike for the rain since there is so much cover.

Enjoyed the trail in December. Nice way to warm up from a cool car ride.

It was a great hike, although it was a bit muddy and wet. Probably not best for little kids when it is that wet and muddy. The hike was a nice mix of up and down (moderate) and the waterfall kind of surprises you in the middle of the trail. We didn't see anyone else there. Great hike.

Easy hike for little beginners. Took my son (3 yrs old) on his first official hike here. It was very fun watching him explore and enjoy the outdoors as much as I do.

But those gunshots. Those damn gunshots. I get it. Folks want to shoot their guns and there may be some isolated places to do so, but so close to a public hiking trail?

It's too bad too. Because this is one of these easy hikes to just blow off steam from being on the highway. But not with the gunshots.

Drove up instead of hiking in. Driving required suv for some clearance and pot holes on gravel road. Very fun drive if you have decent 4wd.
Went the morning after heavy rain and made it much more intense than everyone else’s photos showed - huge waterfall after the rain. Hike was nothing if you drive in - maybe a mile total to/from.
Hike was 3 stars, but waterfall and fun 4wd drive in 4 star.

Beautiful hike and easy for kids. Had a two month old and five year old with us. They were doing some tree clearing on the right side (heading in) which distracted from the nature/natural feeling. Waterfall was amazing for such a short trek.

Very Short, nice little falls at the end. Would be good for kids. Very easy. Slippery when wet. Trail does cross a few ATV trails.

Trail was not open for camping or hiking as of September 8, 2017..... gates closed and signs posted. Only posting as a head up for other hikers headed there as it's a bit of a drive - the area is beautiful as I'm sure the trail and falls are when open.

It was beautiful!! Trail got confusing for a for a bit, but still great. Perfect with kids. The fall was gorgeous. The pools beneath were a kind of gross.

Interesting little "hike" to an interesting point in Oregon. Not worth going for this hike alone, but worth stopping by on the way to or from another hike.

Perfect hike for our 7 and 9 year old. Got almost to the end before whines of "I'm tiiirrrreeed" begun.

We hiked this with two 7 year olds and a toddler. They managed fine, but the overgrowth made some parts of the trail tiresome to navigate. Needed a machete with me! The creek is nice and fun for the kids to explore. Seems like a firing range might be in the vicinity. Less than idyllic with gunfire in the distance.

Pleasant. Very peaceful/quiet on a weekend afternoon. Nothing special about the views.

Very nice trail. It is not clearly marked, but if you follow this map it is super easy.

This is a great short hike. Go early and you will have complete solitude. There is a good amount of parking at the trailhead and restrooms. There is no cell service at all. Lots of shade. The trail is near the road at the start but after a while the road noise fades.

Great for families, we went on a beautiful sunny Oregon day so the trail was moderately trafficked. Plenty of parking and well marked trails.

great falls a short walk in. Many motorcycles on nearby access roads

Great for families and dogs as there are many side trails leading to the river.

Very swampy in two locations. (Well, I guess it was February) Not quite "pull your boots off" muskeg, but it can get grippy. Other places it is very "bushy" around the calves, sort of like an over-grown single-track bike trail. Not too bad, though, and is not too steep... Gets you around ok, esp if you are older...

Must be a hunting area or something nearby. Lots of gunshots. Otherwise, typical woodland trail.

Super short easy trail that leads to a flat marker on the ground at the four county point. The whole hike was punctuated by the sound of gunshots; I never saw anyone but could hear people firing guns nearby the entire time. Not the vibe I seek while hiking.

Nice trail. I went mid-morning and only saw one other person on the trail. Upon return there were a ton of people showing up. The earlier the better for this one likely because of its accessibility. It was a little close to the HWY and there were a few awkward areas for dogs. I was with two dogs and we had to go under the small bridge with one railing. Towards the end of the trail there is the sandy bank with a perfect doggy swimming area for any one who is looking. It is the perfect distance for a quick adventure with the pups for a few hours.

Trail is open. Nice trail with many areas for river access along the way. There are a few areas on the trail with steep drop offs and the foliage along the trail may be a problem for smaller children and dogs. When you get to the area where the trail comes out onto a gravel road you'll need to cross the bridge and the trail starts again on the east side of the road. This is a good hike for all ages with only a small section of steep switchbacks near the falls.

Closed due to weather as of may, bridge is out of something.

A typical trail in the forest, but the road noise from US 26 and the logging trucks, plus no views detract from this experience. The only real interest is the USGS marker at the four county corner point.

This is a very gentle trail for beginners and children. Returning back to the Forestry Center made for a nice end to the trail. We hiked from the center to the Wilson Falls and back, making this just right over 3 miles there and back.

Nice trail. Clear. Easy. Out and back took about 40 mins. The marker at the end was pretty dirty and hard to read. The trail was a little confusing at the beginning. From the trailhead, take the trail to the left. The right loops around to the road.
