Description
South Beach State Park is located in Newport and features several beautiful miles of coastline. The Jetty Trail and Educational Trail are two of the more popular trails for visiting hikers and runners. You can also kayak along Beaver Creek on a guided tour from the visitor's center. The park also features a campground and yurts available for rent. For those simply looking to relax and enjoy some time in nature, there is a playground, picnic areas, horse-shoe pits, and a disc golf course.
