Sitka Sedge is the newest state park in Oregon. It opened June 2018. It seems not many know about it yet because there virtually no one else there. I did go rather late in the day though. My experience was a most excellent one. The weather wasn't perfect due to fog, but it made for eerie and mysterious photo conditions, which I enjoyed greatly. There is a huge variety of scenery in this natural area. There is beach access, but not directly from the parking lot. You have to hike in a ways. Walking through the thicket is pretty cool. Looks like a scene from some creepy movie.
