Photos of Rogue River–Siskiyou National Forest Bird Watching Trails

This is one of my favorite hikes. It’s also referred to as the Upper Rogue River and Woodruff Bridge Trail. To find the trail head from the Natural Bridge parking area, head towards the footbridge and right before it look for a trail on the left. It’s easy to miss. There’s a sign that says Upper Rogue River Trail Number 1034. This is it. After about a mile and a half, you’ll reach a split—go right to the Knob Falls viewing point, go left to continue on to Woodruff Bridge. In October, you’ll see lots of fall foliage and lots of different kind of mushrooms. The best fall foliage will be seen between Knob Falls and Woodruff Bridge, so go all the way down if you have time. It’s an easy trail, with the only incline being on the way back from Woodruff Bridge. My total distance in addition to the Knob Falls Viewpoint was around 7 miles.
