Beautiful trail. Definitely recommend hiking poles, it was a little slippery at some places. Watch out for a steep incline almost half way through the trail.

Great Sunday morning trail for running. Plum tree on the way was an absolute delight. Pets on the trail are fun to interact with - always tempt me to get one !!

this is my go-to trail when I need some forest time but don't have time to get out of the city. relatively quick and easy (with one steep incline section). depending on the time of year there's a nice little stream and great views.

Took us 2 hr ... good one .

Beautiful summer trail. Lush, few other people. Signage not good

It was a good little hike for my first solo with both dogs. It was moderately trafficked, especially at "intersections" of the Wildwood trail. Lots of wildflowers & berries & butterflies. Elevation could be considered moderately difficult, but not an issue for experienced hikers. Over all a very pleasant day hike.

Hikes with kids ages 18mo and 3yrs old. Nicely shaded so perfect for warm day. Easy walk for kids with wild flowers and tall trees. But not that interesting for kids. We walked in and back out - no loop.

Anybody know if there's horse trailer parking off Skyline Blvd?

Beautiful up until you get to the fire trail, where it gets a bit boring and repetitive. Parking is also a hassle in Linnton, we ended up parking in “downtown” Linnton and walking in. Not sure how well enforced the no parking areas are near the trailhead, but I saw plenty of cops passing and didn’t risk it.

Great for finding mushrooms and berries, though! And the creek at the beginning is nice and peaceful. Not many people on a weekday evening, and no signs of homeless camps.

Good day hike!

great little loop. only saw a few other people (nice weekday in February). a bit sloppy, so definitely bring some old towels for your dog

A great trail to let the pooch run around. Not many people.

Nice spot, a little less trafficked, good for dogs and kids. The parking is good too.

Fun with good views and not too many ppl.

Limited parking at the gate. Follow fire roads 13, 12, and 15, and return via Wildwood Trail. Well marked.

A little tricky, but the app is a godsend! Parking is very limited, and trailhead/parking unlabeled. Across from light blue house.

Pretty easy hike. Amazing view of St Helen about the 1/2 mile point. After the zig zag part of the trail, the climb up is steep and challenging. That is the only part that is moderate and definitely gets you breathing and sweating. I'm definitely doing it again and again.

Beautiful hike! A great mix of shade and sun. Mostly under a canopy of trees. Pretty views of Mt. St. Helens and the Columbia River. Recommend!

Awesome trails ... some people think they don't need to leash their dogs ... it's a respect thing other than that it was great

this was confusing to follow on the trail. I took BPA Rd. along for a while before the trail split to firelands 13 and another direction. I took the other direction. Found AMAZING views of the Willamette but also a steep hill going down. Plan for a steep incline on the way back!!
