Explore the most popular trails in Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park with hand-curated trail maps and driving directions as well as detailed reviews and photos from hikers, campers and nature lovers like you.

Situated half way up the Oregon coast and three miles south of Florence on scenic Highway 101 is the second largest overnight camp in the state. There are two miles of sand dunes between the park and the ocean. Two natural freshwater lakes are within the park. Cleawox -- which is great for swimming -- and Woahink, which has a public boat ramp, is used for all water sports. Rent a canoe and explore the lake. During Discovery Season (October 1 to April 30 every year), you can access the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area directly from your campsite in H loop of the campground. Reservations are recommended for winter holidays such as Thanksgiving and Christmas. Spring brings out the pink rhododendrons. Come summertime, this is a great place for family reunions. The fall huckleberries and blackberries are ripe for the picking. During the winter, off-road vehicle users can access the sand dunes from H Loop. This a camp for all seasons.

Nice. Short & sweet. Nice views of Woahink Lake. A good little run with/for a small dog. This trail is in Honeyman State Park just up from the Group Camp. * Parking Fee (or just Park in the roadside and walk up.) * GPS works. * Vault toilets @ Group Camp.

An easy trail and beautiful scenary with a good variety of elevation. The trail does have sections with a lot of roots across but is fine if you watch your step. As a person with moderate MS I found it very enjoyable without a lot of extra exertion.

Great trail with nice views and areas to sit and enjoy the scenery

nice trail. alltrails nap is recommended to find the trail head.

Nice trail. It’s not too hard of an incline walking. Easy trail and very pretty. We did not complete the whole trail today. There was a section pretty muddy and we have not walked in a while so we turned around.

Def easy but we had a child and a baby in a backpack so it worked. Otherwise it was convenient to the group campsite and beautiful views of the lake.

Park for this little gem on the side of the road just outside of the Honeyman SP Group Camp. Walk straight through to the paved trail which curves right. Do NOT park in the service yard lot right off Hwy101 as you would have to walk around anyway. This is a nice easy hike that made for a great start to my vacation day. Really enjoyed seeing a part of Woahink Lake I’ve never seen before. The trail is maintained quite well which is very nice to see.

Nice lakeside trail, kid friendly, minimal elevation. Some exposed roots to watch your feet. There's a bench about half mile in to sit and enjoy the lake view.

Nice easy peaceful walk this morning. The trail has lots of soft spots and roots to trip on but overall an easy go.

Easy parking at the group campground. Beautiful hike near Lake Woahink.

once you have found out where to parc and the entrance to the hike it is an easy but beautiful single trail, well maintained. It is tranquil and offers great views on the lake.
