Great outing. Was a misty morning and no one else around. Loved every minute. Will return again. Cold Springs Campgrounds are also lovely.

Took trail 4. It was okay but too much of it is on a gravel road. On the road the trail markers are few and confusing. Will go again in the future and use trail 1.

I walked it today.

Nicely kept gravel trail with beautiful views. Nice tree canopy, bird watching and streams along the way. Missed out on seeing bison!

Great hike and view.

Was a fun hike. Took my son on his first hike here. He liked it alot. Great veiw point. Got to see the buffalo. Alot of people were out the day we went but it was still pleasent.

Gorgeous, mostly shaded, and easy hike. Not crowded at all and saw a few deer.

Great place for families. The view at the top is nice. There are several nice trails in the park near this one.

Fair amount of traffic on the trail, but we went during the last week of summer. We didn't hike the extra loops this time, but we plan to go back to try them in the future.

Loved this trail! Added Bromide Hill to the walk and was rewarded with a fabulous view. We even saw the bison. I really enjoyed the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. We will be back to hike some of the trails we haven't gotten to yet. And not too bad a drive from OKC.

Very nice walk and very clean and maintained. There are 3 loops that are a little more moderate hike that were fun. Pretty views.

We went on trail 4. You have to walk down a gravel road before you get to the trail. Not much to see and if you follow the signs it takes you back to the gravel road. We ended up turning back.

(Little Niagara) Monday morning-Walked up to the water, first thing we see was a cotton mouth snake. It swam downstream so the kids played in the water for awhile. Go early to beat the crowd.

Nice little hike/walk. The Nature Center was at the beginning of the trail, super friendly, and helpful staff, and Rangers. Went early Monday morning, and didn’t run into anyone else. Wish It was longer. .

This is a great hike. The trail is very clearly marked and the scenery is fantastic. I'm looking forward to going back and trying other trails.

This is a nice gentle crushed granite trail up and back. I prefer something far more strenuous but I took my dad who has chronic arthritis but still loves the outdoors. Although he was still hurting, he loved this trail! The path is well maintained and is nice for all ages.

I almost stepped on a gorgeous Speckled King Snake (not poisonous) crossing toward the creek about a 1/4th way up. There’s a little switch back once you start to gain elevation toward the overlook. The overlook is a nice treat compared to most spots in Dallas/Fort Worth. Just sit and enjoy the breeze and views.

I have previously walked and hiked this in slightly rainy conditions and it was beautiful.

Easy gravel trail, roughly 1.4 miles one way. Some views of the creek with access to the water in a few spots. You can continue on past Pavilion Springs and connect to either the Bison Pasture Trail or the Bromide Hill Trail for a longer hike.

Easy paved trail around Veterans Lake. Great for a run with some shade here and there. Very nice views of the lake.

Great trail. Saw both bison and fireflies! Leads right near the water a few times. Not too steep and the Bromide Lookout is a great view.

Great day trip from Plano.90 minutes to Mountains, whitewater (okay, brown water) , but rapids nonetheless. A great escape from the concrete jungle. Dog friendly, family friendly and love the large deciduous trees.

Beautiful area to hike. Easy trail.

Super simple. Gravel path the whole way. View is alright, just of the city of Sulfur.

Do it. Easy and you see how beautiful the state of Oklahoma is.and You start low and wide, and get to narrow high. The trail is maintained very well and is enjoyable.

Well maintained, steep, great view at summit

It was a beautiful day. The leaves are turning and falling. The trail can be steep in parts, but it is a really fun hike up. It was a pretty busy trail that day. We took the Bison Pasture Loop after to finish.

This trail is beautiful and pleasant. There is a gorgeous waterfall or unique stone bridge every few steps! This is a trail I will revisit for years to come!

One of the longer hikes at Chickasaw. Buffalo herd was nice. Outstanding examples of CCC construction .
