My only complaint was that I wanted more of it! Beautiful views, some nice factoid placards along the way, some interesting diversions. Definitely some healthy foot traffic on a Sunday morning but as peaceful as it gets. Loved it.

This is a great trail for walking, but the numerous steep inclines make this trail unsafe for running.

Nice short loop. Went on a dry day after a dry week. I bet this one gets pretty muddy though.

Nice walk. Plenty of shade throughout. Really sloppy and muddy right now (June 25 2019), though.

Short loop featuring (you guessed it) large, old oak trees. Also has a nice creekside section. Overall, the best nature trail at Winton Woods.

Nice lollipop loop partly along Kingfisher Creek. Good bird viewing opportunities along the creek. I would rate the difficulty easy instead of moderate, especially if you hike the loop counter-clockwise. Used to be the best trail in Winton Woods until they cut a sewer line through the trail's loop. These days I like the nearby Great Oaks Trail a little more even though it is shorter than this one.

Nice short trail. if you cross the creek, the trail connects with the Great Oaks trail, up a steep hill to the road at Oak Hill.

My dog and I really enjoyed this trail. If I lived closer, I’d be here frequently. I loved the way it goes down by the creek for quite a large part of the trail. I think there was a side trail you could cut across the top and not down by the creek but not sure. I just wish it was longer!

I nice short trail featuring some impressive trees. My favorite time to hike here is at dusk when you are likely to hear barred owls. You can connect this trail with other nearby trails to make it a much longer experience if you'd like, though I'm not sure if the park recommends it.

An unmarked trail behind my house meets up with this trail so I'm always hiking it. It's a great place to escape and relax for an hour or so. The best season to walk this trail is definitely spring, right when the trout lilies come out. I love coming here after an evening spring rain because seemingly nobody else is in the park and the wood thrushes sing their song to you.

A fun and relaxing hike, especially when it's not crowded.

Great little family hike, seems more rural than it actually is.
