Silver Creek Metro Park features a lush forest, a spring fed bathhouse, and traces of the Civil War. In the 19th century, coal was mined in this area and this area used to be a dairy farm. This park is a great place for nature walks, bird watching, and wildlife viewing. Some species that visitors may encounter include: eastern bluebirds, meadowlarks, rabbit, hawks, mice, and deer.
