Great trail, diverse landscape and some pretty up and downs! Also a suspension bridge!

I've hiked this trail a number of times as it's right near my house. It's fairly rugged (for this area) on the section north of Sand Run Parkway. As you see on the map, it's pretty close to the Parkway coming and going, so traffic is always within ear shot. There's a section that's been re-routed through the Seiberling Nature Center park that's nicely wooded and a bit farther from the road. You'll probably have the trail to yourself as the Sand Run walk/ride path attracts most of the local walkers/runners. Poison ivy is an issue throughout the area in the summer.

Didn't notice the trail closes signs mentioned but did see a lot of great sites. A great workout and scenic trail

Beautiful hike, moderate diffculty, 600 ft in elevation change. would not be fun on a muddy day, so be prepared.

A part of this trail is closed and for good reason. The increased rain fall has been eroding away the river banks. Continue on this trail and you will be on unsafe, unstable ground.

Sink holes, freshly fallen trees, and loose dirt are abundant. Unless you are very comfortable navigating off trail and rerouting, do not go past the "trail closed" signs.
