Great park to walk

Trail was very good but there is a fee before you can get to the trail. 4 dollars for residents of Hamilton county and 5 dollars for non-residents

I hiked the Wood Duck Trail in Mitchell Memorial Forest on 10/11/2016. There is a small creek and pond that you pass by as you hike the trail. The leave were starting to turn when I was there. It's a nice trail.

A short video of my hike can be found on my Youtube channel at the link below:

Wood Duck Trail is the 1.1 mile hiking trail just before the larger biking trail. It's wide and well paved with just one gradual hill. There's a small pond, creek and you can often see deer and turkey. Great for the family.

Great for trail running. Will definitely go back.

Great trail for westsiders and others. Check previous weather because trail is under forest canopy and thus hold water for several days longer than other cinci trails. I recommend for experienced riders and casual riders alike.

Good for hiking too! Just listen for oncoming bikers... :)

Mitchell is great. Easy to navigate, clean and safe. Enough rolling hills to keep things interesting, but not overly strenuous. Perfect for an after work ride or run. Wildlife is active. A gem on cincy's west side for sure. The 8 miles is good for a moderate run, or double up and go long. All single track and rarely overly crowded. Enjoy!

The trail is actually 8 miles now with a fast looping "A" trail and slightly more technical "B" trail that lengthens the entire loop to 8 miles. Fun, fast trails. There is a 3 dollar daily fee or an annual fee that is the better way to go.
