I liked the trail. Limited signs in a few areas that could get you lost or off trail. I added more to the route, which was nice to have that option.

Great hike. Can feel long because of repetitiveness. Only about 4.5 miles.

Great trail with moderate ups and downs. Nice variety of mushrooms, oyster this time of year. Earlier in the summer there are chanterelles and blackberries. Sharing with mountain bikers so awareness is important. Definitely take Sugar Bush at the end of the yellow to the trailhead so you don’t have to hike the last 1/4 mile on the road. No signage when merging with Red, just keep going straight.

We really enjoyed this hike. Tried to get onto the red trail from Sugarbush, but couldn’t find the connector. Saw a few mountain bikers. Overall the trail was well-maintained, only had to hurdle over one or two trees. We went on a dry day and there was great shade.

This trail was really great, I'll absolutely go again. It was well maintained and has beautiful changes in scenery. It is used for mountain biking as well so just be aware as you hike. Also, All Trails says it's 3.9 miles but we did the exact trail and it came out to 4.7 which was a little much for my lil pup but all in all really great.

nice little trail with exercise stations. part of it is in the woods and shaded, the other part is sunny and on the busy all purpose trail.

Very easy. But near the south end of the trail is a sign that says Royalview Picnic Area. It is quite a long way off - maybe 1/2 a mile and the trail is extremely narrow, very steep in parts, and very muddy (at least today it was). A few parts are not marked but you can likely figure it out by looking around to see where the trail picks up again.

nice flat trail for an easy hike. It was dry when I hiked (no rain in a while), however, it was apparent that any rain would result in a super muddy mess of a trail

Lots of wildlife, fun variety of terrain. Neat boardwalks throughout. One of my favorites.

Don’t get me wrong I had a great time. But like other reviews my partner and I ended up getting lost and it gets quite dark quickly. The trail can be somewhat confusing and we followed a trail that eventually led us off trail. Also (I’m assuming due to current weather and the surplus of storms) a lot of trees had fallen down. Only one or two on the path which wasn’t a problem but could be for some.

Relatively easy hike except very muddy and sloppy after a day of rain followed by snow. Hard to follow trail in snow so only ended up doing 4.3 mi round trip. Will revisit in summer when dry.
