Awesome sites to see and easy terrain!!

Had a great time

Loved the views and the beautiful rocks.

Best hike in the Hocking Hills. Personally, I would call it moderate in difficulty.

Love this place

Beautiful!

Pictures don't do it justice.

Great views between rocks, caves, waterfalls, etc. it was pretty heavily trafficked on a weekend day but the views made the difference. There are a lot of trail options though which made for great options and variety.

We liked the narrow stairs through the rock down to the grotto. Up around the rim we found less people, which was nice. Very long drive for us to get there so not sure when we’ll go back.

Beautiful area, but like to of people on the weekend. If you can go during the week, I’d do it.

Love it here!!!!

Trails were in good shape even though we’ve had heavy rains lately. A few areas are tricky, but the group of 11 Scouts and 2 younger siblings had no problems. Parking lots are nice and have bathrooms & Water.

Neat hike, pretty easy. Cool water falls (3) Trails not marked well and needs better ways to get over streams with out getting wet.

awesome views! took my dog with me and he loved it as well. cedar falls and old man's cave get really busy but the gorge part of the trail was very quiet. would definitely do again! parking lot was fairly empty around 8:30am but at the end of the hike the place was packed.

Very beautiful scenery. I’ve hiked all of Hocking Hills and this trail is by far my favorite! I don’t think it should be rated as “Hard” though, lol. It is an easy-medium trail.

Beautiful chilly spring day to enjoy this trail. The first half getting to cedar falls wore us out so taking the overlook trail on the way back was a nicer relaxing walk.

The campsite we stayed at had a trail that lead to Old Man's Cave so we decided that would be where our journey would start. We traveled downhill and through a small construction site where the new Visitors Center is being built and headed for the cave. It was like stepping into another world as the trail transitioned from dense forest to an open rocky gorge with running waterfalls and sandy pools. The stone bridges and steps that twist and turn through the gorge were fantastical. I had high expectations but these were quickly surpassed by the views and cliff faces.

This place was again amazing as you can walk through areas that have been carved into the rock. The trail to and from the rock house was riddled with large boulders and natural sandstone steps that offered a little improvisational climbing. Trail length was around 1.5 miles.

Gorgeous trail! I went this past Monday when the ice melted and there was a big rain so the waterfalls were full and awe inspiring. Not crowded yet but still muddy make sure you have hiking shoes while the weather is changing. One of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever been on!

Winter sights are pretty cool. A lot of large icecicles. BEWARE*** I went today and all the trails are frozen with at least a inch of solid ice. I slid into the water 4 times and there is nothing to stop the slide once you start. Luckily there was not a large dropoff where I slid. The ice makes it very slow moving because you need to attack certain spots with strategy when it is cliff+ice+downhill. If you are brave you can do it in an hour and a half but you will be wet from the melting ice and the guarantee you will slide into the water. Good luck!

Beautiful scenery! I hiked this trail this summer and for the annual winter hike and it is amazing!

I have spent a lot of my time in this park. I had many classes on these trails as a student at Hocking College and just spent the weekend there for the winter hike.

we hiked this trail on new year's eve in low single digit temperatures. there were icy, difficult spots but no special equipment needed... and very few other hikers which made it a favorite! beautiful caves, cliffs, and waterfalls.
