kid friendly

Dripping Rock is one of the best trails in central Ohio, and adding the Overlook is a good way to add some distance and a nice view to your hike.

nice trails. felt safe. ok marked.. but I'm directionally challenged.

Nice trail easy to walk.

Very nice trail in the Columbus metro. Well shaded, some elevation change. Some nice views of the brooks in the ravine and exposed rock faces.

One of the nicest trails in the Columbus metro area. Parts of it can feel like you are far away from the city. Well shaded so that even in the summer it’s not too hot. Can get crowded during the weekends starting mid morning.

Very pretty. Read the signs carefully. I doubled my length when I paired off on the wrong turn lol

Great dog trail! Wooded and open fields. Very scenic

Beautifully kept trail, wonderful views, and some really cool hidden spots to be found.

I love this trail. It’s right near my job. Takes a few hours to loop the whole thing if you’re walking but it’s got all the views and shade you need to accompany you through your adventure. I saw a mongoose there too! Sooo cute in the face!

Pretty views into the ravines. Well maintained, busy trail. We didn't complete the entire trail, just 2 mils of it. Very nice Nature Center at the Trailhead. Saw an owl by the creek, heard a woodpecker.

Great trail for walking or running, my wife and I got to see a baby deer with her mother

Nice hike. Easy. There is a bald eagles nest you can see

Great variety with hills and nice views!

Decent trail to hike with your dog.

It’s good for Columbus - however, if you’re looking for real hiking and views, you’d prolly be best to hike another trail outside of Columbus.

Nice walk in the snow. Be sure to go to the overlook.

Nice wide leveled and debris free trails great for running or hiking. Scenery is not exceptional, but it is a nice escape with minimal road noise or intrusion from civilization!

Fun trail with moderate up and down hill sections. for the most part, it's a well maintained trail. So, if you're looking for a rugged trail running experience, you can find better at nearby Alum Creek. Lots of people on the weekend but the trail's wide enough that it's not really an issue. Mostly shady with a few sunny spots.

Nice park. It's more a kid friendly park. The trails are nice but poorly marked. I just went to Christmas Rocks yesterday and enjoyed the isolation of that trail much more than the community feel of this park. Depends on your preference though. Still a nice park.

Stupid. No pet allowed. I was with my dog and did not go in.

Certainly not the most scenic trail at High Banks, but one of the only dog-friendly ones. This trail has a creek near the entrance, which my pup loves to splash in to cool down. Otherwise it is a relatively flat (does NOT have a 170ft elevation gain) nature walk through forest and open fields. I always see a few people, but it's never busy. Can get muddy after rain.

no fucking dogs!

Pros: Not too far from the city. Multiple trails to walk but mostly short. Friendly, helpful staff and nice nature center.

Cons: No true day hike option. Only one rather lousy dog friendly trail (leash only). Not much scenic geography (mostly just unimproved trails through wooded areas and fields). The park leads a guided hike to "The Giants," a pair of oversized Sycamores, a couple of times a year. One of the trees has come down in recent years. Neither was really that impressive. I have seen at least 2 Sycamores in southern Ohio in my lifetime that were significantly larger. One is still standing.....disappointing

A lovely, well maintained trail. Great views, moderate hills, & good parking.

No dogs allowed. Waist of time.

Completed the 5 mile winter hike, trails were clear and in good shape.
