I was very disappointed with this trail. I had heard about it for years. Finally was able to get there. The entrance made it seem like it would be amazing. Sadly, after that, it wasn't impressive.

Furnace Run Rock Creek is really only shown as Rock Creek Run. Per the Metroparks, Furnace Run is also Old Mill Trail, which was nice because you can get more miles in.

There isn't much elevation change and there are two loops that make a figure-8, which together ended up being a bit over 2.5 miles. It was a little slick today due to the warm-up and melting ice, so have good boots or poles for safety if you come soon.

Definitely easy but not paved. You could up the challenge by going off course or moving cut logs around. Two one mile loops in a figure eight. Very peaceful and enjoyable. I go about 12 times a year.

Beautiful trail. Rock beds exceptional. Dog and stroller friendly. But noisy from highway. Would come back. Nice picnic area and nature center. Has pavilion

Scenic mile-long forest trail that crosses over a creek several times. A few changes in elevation make for some hills. Brush family marker is visible on the trail. Very nice walk.

This is a beautiful, wooded trail even when the daffodils aren't in bloom. Trail is fairly easy; about half downhill and half uphill. There are three benches along the trail at great spots.

Beautiful wooded trail with scenic views of the creek. Very easy 1.2-mile walk.

Easy walk with a toddler

A good trail for a quick lunchtime stroll.

a short easy trail with fewer daffodils then you would think given the name of the trail.
